- The new Netflix film 'Hustle' packs humor and NBA clout into a larger lesson that all can connect with. Adam Sandler chases his hoop dreams through Philly - and a parallel Sixers dimension. This Here They Come episode follows Sandler and the Sixers while the film was being created.

I can’t remember how much I’ve enjoyed a movie like this. It was so much fun having all the real players and coaches and people connected with the sport, and the story was really done well. Everyone did a great job acting. And of course, Adam Sandler!
I never knew Juancho was an NBA player, i though he was a normal actor cause he played that character so well that i thought he was an experienced actor lmao. He can have a huge career as an actor and he is just 26 yrs old.
Fun fact, Adam asked Joel to be in Uncut Gems, playing Kevin Garnett's character. He said he wanted a "larger than life" personality for the role. However, the movie was shooting during the season so Jojo couldn't do it. KG, recently retired, stepped into the role and in my opinion, was PHENOMENAL, a FOR REAL good actor, although I would have loved to see our Jo in that movie, it was a fantastic piece of film.

So awesome. Love that he picked Philly to shoot this movie. He nailed South Philly. So many scenes, so many places and even words that only locals would get. The Passyunk gym was a special touch.

For real though, 2 things I realized after watching this movie:
1. Juancho looks more natural on screen than any other player before. Most of the time, the way they deliver dialogues feels too scripted.
2. Kenny Smith acts waaay better than Shaq does because Shaq always seems to try too hard to sell his scenes. 😅 Good for you, Kenny!
That's right, I like that Kenny seemed like a normal chill dude.
bruh I dont know anything about NBA at all and I thought that Kenny dude is an veteran actor,I watched this movie cause I like adam sandler
@@Rakkidood he's had a few commercials, but I'm not 100% if he's had any movie acting credits before. You can watch clips of Shaq in movies and compare it with Kenny and you'll feel like Kenny's a better actor than Shaq.😅
Anthony edwards also deserves some credit, dude played the antagonist so well
I think the casting of Juancho and Kenny was on point. As well as Anthony Edwards low key but personal trash talk was on point, they didn't go the stereotype way of getting a loud mouth.

Just watched this - twice, actually. The first time, my husband put it on at 1:30 AM after we had just binge-watched three other movies. I didn't remember much of it because I think I slept through most of it. But, today - today - I watched it again - totally awake - and I loved it madly!!!!!! Great movie featuring my 6ers! So good to see Seth Curry in it, too. And reuniting Bobi and Tobi. Will be watching this again :) But awake, lol.

Juancho did fucking fantastic for a ball player playing an actor... this cast as a whole was next level in terms of their acting abilities with a majority being professional ball players. It was a great movie.
Love it, they used the best parts of the Sixers too... bunch of good dudes.
Adam's movies without his usual "buddies"' hits waaaaay different, esp. Uncut Gems.

Seth was too short to play shooting guard, but he wasn't much of a point either

I love our Jojo to pieces, but having him in the movie wouldn't have made sense. Juancho is playing a "superstar in the making" at the center position. @@jessicaklonoski554 Jojo is mentioned multiple times before drafting haas he’s mentioned as a maxey haas Harris embiid lineup then Sandler when talking to “Leon rich” aka Kenny smith mentions he’s not trading Embiid so even in the movies plot he exists.. I loved the movie just hated the ending I wish bo would of been drafted by the Sixers once Sandler gets rehired but how fitting we missed on a great talent in the draft just like we usually do in real life (Tatum, booker, bridges, list goes on )
@@ilphi08 harden underperformed outside of one good game in the playoffs I much rather Would of waited until the offseason retained curry resigned Drummond then signed harden in the offseason i believe we still would of lost in 2nd rd regardless maybe even forced a game 7 if we had curry and Drummond… ultimately wouldn’t of been enough but we didn’t have enough anyways.. that being said BEN SIMMONS should of been in the movie lol embiid definitely could of shot a scene or 2

Doubt it. They are a pretty good regular season team. Playoffs not so much. Most they make it to is the second round and get bounded out. Miami Boston and Milwaukee are the powerhouses in the East, even Brooklyn healthy next season. Sixers are a tier below them.

the ending was just a filming and so does the credit scene for bo, doc, and sandler part. but for the other sixers member who were included in the credit scene they used a real game footage which is the game againts celtics on january 14 2022

Just learning this was about the Sixers.......I saw the movie with Kevin Garnett, which was incredible and was looking forward to this after I heard about it.....did not know it had anything to do with Sixers.
Adam really is about giving players and opportunity to participate in other venues and expanding their lives.......the players really respond!!
Kevin really was good in the previous movie and was tricked into a larger roll.....the biggest lesson was learning the movie business.
