I like seeing stun. It feels great beating them in like 1/10 matches. Playing stun is the most chill dueling ever and feels like old school Yu-Gi-Oh.
I like playing decks with a lot of Spells and Traps that can do things without relying entirely on setting up a full board. I find that makes it a lot easier to go up against Floodgates than assuming a "1 card combo" will go through every time.
Also gives something to do when hand traps from more "standard" lists start interrupting plays. Siding turns every deck into a Floodgate deck Games 2 and 3 anyway so may as well prep ahead of time.

This was the deck I used to get back into the game in 2022 after a 10 year hiatus. I'm hoping Fossil Dyna and Jowgen don't get limited or banned.
7 - 1 is pretty good with this deck as what could be considered a rogue deck. I think if we had 3 Card of Demise in the TCG, I don't think the deck would be considered rogue. Maybe Tier 1.5, just because of that one card. I would play Phantasm Spiral (you did a video where a guy named Jackson Pesch topped in 2019) as my main deck if I could use 3 Card of Demise. It's part of the reason that deck was able to top in the months before the pandemic starting.
Golgonda is one of the most unique cards to have ever come out in the entire history of the game. Like Time-Tearing Morganite in a way, but way better!

"it was pure cancer" my guy, out of all of the decklists i've seen that did well at this event, this is easily the coolest, most interesting one. no S:P, no horus, no bonfire, no sinful spoils, budget af. as a boomer, i am very, very tempted to try this.

i enjoy playing faster-paced modern decks as well. my boomer comment was a nod to the prospect of feeling nostalgia from playing at a slower pace and using mirror forces (yeah they're not the OG one but you get what i mean) and solemn judgments etc @@Geo-ok1nw

I stopped playing in 2005 and didn't start paying attention to the game again until 2020, right AFTER the brief period where the decks got interesting again.
Only "combo" deck I find interesting is Branded, and that's basically just a Midrange deck that does too much. Combos that focus on setting up backrow like Rescue-ACE, Labrynth, and certain builds of Eldlich and Sky Striker are way more interesting than "coin flip" builds that can't do anything at all if they don't set up to me. The Sinful Spoils package is neat because of tools like Silvera and Rciela but is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE on paper, I didn't have to spend a dime to supplement my builds with that stuff in MD at least.
Most interesting one... I think you people have a warped view of Yugioh if you think that.

I've built this deck with a bit of change due to OCG banlist. I had fun with it during the big event yesterday. Though my standing is 3 - 4, but the losses is a close games and with a fight.

Es más, esta lista tiene mucha inspiración en las corrientes antimetas de latinoamerica que venimos jugando. Lo bueno es que como gran jugador que es supo darle su personalidad y adaptar las listas a su juego, y cambio ratios de pots, y agrego shifter y estatuas de main para lidiar con la impermanence con cuerpos y no con back, pero en si , gran parte de la lista, tanto en sideck como en extra, nace de nuestro movimiento , sobre todo la sobreexplotación de golgonda. Que hermosa carta!

I’m going to say the normal that almost every yugioh player will say lol “ I been playing this deck for awhile and been on this “ the fact that somebody like Johnny is running this a gray player with a good personality and a good point of view is now running this and bringing it out there It makes me as a stun player happy and I ain’t mad about it. I run Anti-Meta Stun too but I also use *Dimension Guardian* and *Power of the Guardians* (for protection) and Earth Barrier Statues in my build because as long as you aren't playing against Earth Machine or Traptrix ,which is rarely, then you are good to go. People hate me for using the deck calling me a cancer player but I enjoy the deck very much I may never stop playing the deck as long as *Fossil Dyna* isn't banned. Btw nice deck profile I am glad to see someone performing well at a large event with the deck keep it up *{::>_

i use a gate guardian stun deck on master duel its so good but one thing people should add to a stun deck is 1 vanity ruler its so good when you can stop them while still being able to special summon yourself. it can be annoying to summon but if done with time tearing its nice when it works if not you just keep stunning them lol also gate guardian protects you from inperm

Question here: when you win the dice you always go second with this deck? Or are there sometimes that you go first.
Honestly with most stun decks like this you want to go first. If they can't special they can't play. This might have an easy time with some decks going second but not everyone. Game 2 going second is different though

Simplify the board, keep them from establishing or setting back up then just poke with Dyna, Water Statue and Eclesia until they lose
Man I took this deck awhile back ago and I feel like I got cheated out of a win and what was worst the other duelist was extremely toxic and threatened me
For the miror force who send all ATK monster to hand , is the drowning miror force better because this one shuffle into the deck / extra deck?

Sorry for my ignorance but can someone explain why have a tri-brigade arms buchephalus ? How do you special summoned it ? if is not to special summon then what is the purpose. Thank you in advance!
it is useful for dogmatika punishment since its 3500atk and it's a link for ultimate slayer. and when it goes to the GY it sends another one beast monster from extra to GY so you can send garura and draw 1
Nothing in the extra deck gets summoned. It's all dogmatika punishment ammunition

So I know recently a lot of meta has shifted to tenpi so I use zombie world or clockwork night that slows them down

can someone tell me what are the synchro and link monsters please ?
synchros are malong and psy-frame omega and the link is tribrigade buchephalus. they are all targets for dogmatika punishment or ultimate slayer. Malong when sent to GY bounce one, omega helps you shuffling things back from GY and banishment and buchephalus is high atk and can send garura to draw 1

They want to sit down and normal summon and flip traps. They don't wanna dedicate time and effort into the game to learn it. What you're talking about, Konami supported old school formats, is an issue that needs dealt with for sure.
