A ton of drummers have influenced me over the years in terms of my style of play, but I would have to say that Rick Allen is the reason I still play today. I have always had a disability and had to figure out ways around it to make drumming possible. Just the fact that he got back up and kept going after his car accident was highly inspirational to me personally and was someone who I looked to whenever I felt like giving up on it.
Lots of influence throughout my drumming history, however nobody influences me more then Matt Gartska. He is a madman and his new learning series is insane. 🤙 Thanks for the opportunity Saluda!
I’ve always wanted a set of these badass cymbals! Hand made, crisp, and built with love. As far as my favorite drummers go they list is so wide from the range of different genres and music styles, but I’d have to say Tommy lee ever since I was 5 years old and discovered Motley has been the one who has always grabbed my attention. Merry Christmas!
The drummers who have most influenced my playing are Budgie (Siouxsie and the Banshees), Boris Williams (The Cure) and Robert Heaton (New Model Army) all alike. Apart from them, of course Brzezicki, Cameron, Bonham, Copeland are also a big influence too.
Yes! Mark Brzezicki of Big Country is an overlooked gem!! Love his tasteful use of his China type and splashes, especially on the song and EP The Crossing (I think it was, it's been so long)
Thanks for the awesome monthly’s, and your fantastic cymbals! Most influential, ORIGINAL inspirational? Probably, Mr. Simon Phillips. Modern inspiration? Gavin Harrison & Carter Beauford. 🏆
Most influential drummer, well he does more percussion based but as a kid Phil Collins made me fall in love with his style and it made me want to experiment different sounds.
Though I've expanded my tastes and style, Phil Rudd was easily my most influential drummer. He built a solid meter in me that has stayed with me for over 40 years of playing. Thank you Saluda for your generousness and supreme cymbals! Y'all ROCK!!
I have two influential drummers! Eric Moore (My teacher) Jake. Specifically, Jake, got me into drumming in the first place. He taught me everything, from playing gospel to picking out the right drum head. He also plays guitar and plays at our church with me. Eric Moore explains himself, he is awesome and gives such good fill inspiration.
Most influential i guess would really be Gavin Harrison. Got a lot of them but ever since i heard him i've been loving the way he plays and really gotten into it.
What influenced me to get me started was this guy named Matthew daniel, had seen him drum at a jazz concert and it sparked my interest. Through out my drumming its has probably been matt garstka
Danny Carey has been such a huge influence for me. Just the pure level of technicality in his drumming inspired me to play things that didn't seem possible for one person to do all at once. Truly a master of his art.

Awesome!! Another contest!! I have to say Randy Castillo is my all time most influential drummer. His off beat timing, hard and heavy licks, also, I believe he was a very underrated drummer... I just Loved his Style and he just fit with Ozzy so well. The cymbal you are giving away is gorgeous!!! I would love to have that on my kit. I was in an auto accident in 2013 and can’t play a lot now but, when I do I’d like to have at least one good cymbal. All my others are falling apart and really can’t afford new ones. Not trying to pull at heart strings or anything or give a big sap story. I’d just love to have some new cymbals. That would ROCK!! Love your vids and all the info on your products. Thanks for the opportunity to win something so Cool! ✌️ Peace Out my Friends!! Take Care!!

My most influential drummer is definitely Gavin Harrison, as for now. I haven't yet gotten into he's technical tricks as I like to do when I really get hooked to someone's playing but having researched lots of his mindset and approach to playing the instrument, I've completely changed mine thanks to that. I haven't changed towards being like him, but rather developing my own style thanks to his philosophy. In the past, Bill Bruford and Marco Minnemann have also left marks of influence in my playing. Thanks for all the giveaways and happy holidays to you all!
My most influential drummer is Jeff Porcaro. I grew up listening to TOTO, and then learned to play on it. Even after 10 years, I still have to learn from the Rosanna shuffle... RIP Jeff
