Time Lapse - Pigeon Forge Flash Flood May 4, 2021.

This is 4 hours of footage combined into 1 minute, so roughly 15 seconds per hour.
I stopped the video before the flooding had finished because my GoPro tripod was now in water and I didn’t want it to get swept away.
Notice how fast it progresses in the last 15 seconds/hour!
We were told that this sudden exponential progression was due to a dam being opened upstream (without any warning).
Nobody was injured and only one camper was damaged during this but probably 20 were moved before they got flooded.

Was this the Little Pigeon River or the large creek that runs along the road outside of Sevierville?
