@@billy_dingo7 Good day and God bless. . . First et me say, I have no opinion! I gave that up when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior 44 years ago! I have the Word of God period. My opinion is moot and so are my feelings as I walk in the Spirit and not my fleshly desires (feelings)!!!
I do appreciate you taking the time to read the things that I have wrote and you are right, talking to non receptive people can sure seem like work. But it is what Christ saved and commissioned me to do and I keep His commands!!! You say I am lacking in empathy; the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. Brother. . . let me run you thru a quick list of the things that I have endured on this earth in my 53 years. As I have basically been persecuted since the beginning of my memory. . . Mental, physical, and sexual abuse as a child and teenager. Poverty that forced me to dumpster dive with my mother to eat. The death of so many people that I loved. Homelessness, War (Marine Corp Recon division), Prison and when I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior at 9 it didn't get better, it got worse, as Jesus said it would if I followed Him. As the devil goes after those that truly Love God and keep His word. I feel like I have lived the life of Job about 10x"s over and I thank God for it. I do not sit around feelings sorry for myself and do not share this because I want you to feel sorry for me. I share it to show the Glory of God and just how much we can truly endure if we truly Love Him and keep/obey His word. I could keep going with the betrayal of loved ones and bad things the world has thrown at me, but I think you get the point.
I understand better than you give me credit for, but as I said I walk in the Spirit and not my feelings and my knowledge of the Bible lets me know that we all have to go thru what God wants and lets us to go thru to become the people He wants us to be!!! There isn't much I have not seen in this world, so I am really good at relating to people in all types of situations, as I have endured what they are going thru in my life. But I also know that God called Lucifer and basically sicced Him on Job (Chapter 1 of Job) to test His Faith!!! And does the same thing to all claim to believe to test them, as this is about His Will and not ours! You say I lack empathy from a world perspective and the Bible says if I follow in my fleshly desires (feelings, including empathy) I can and will be misled. So I choose to walk in the Spirit and obey the word of God. Which tells us to question everything and test every spirit to see if it is of God or something else. Life experience has taught me that people say a lot of things and people lie a lot. So I do not just believe what people say and that may come across as brash, crass or unempathetic, but that could not be further from the truth. I do as Jesus did and question people to test the and what they say.
Now lets move on to the next part of your evaluation of me. Simone. . . This is not about my belief system and I am testing what she said against the word of God. I am not bashing her, as I do not know her. I am questioning what she said verses what the Word of God says. As the Apostle Paul taught in 1 Corinthians 5:9-13 it is our place to judge those inside the Church (Body Of Christ/Believers) in accordance with the word of God. Who are doing and saying things that do not align with the word of God. People like Simone treat God as if He is a genie in a bottle and do not want to put in any work (reading or studying of the word)! Yet claim they are believers?!? I mean her comment goes against several scriptures in the Bible. And as I told her it is self defeating. First of all, if it is a prayer. . . Jesus told us not to pray like this in Mathew 6:5-13! Revelations 3:16. . . Jesus says if you are lukewarm I will spew you out of my mouth. As you are neither hot nor cold and with God there is no straddling the fence. You either believe or you do not!!! God gave us a Book with His Will/Word for our lives and guidance. You want help from Him, read it and you find every answer to every question you have on how to overcome this fallen world we live in. You want empathy. . . Go listen to Joel Osteen and do not read my comments as all you will find in them is TRUTH (the word of God). And the truth can sound hateful and unempathetic to those who hate the truth. I mean go read how Jesus talked to alleged believers (religious leaders, Sadducees, and Pharisees) in the Gospels. He was even intolerant and down right (what you would call unempathetic) toward the disciples at times. As God corrects the ones He loves!!!
As for you telling me, if I was familiar with this site and the people here, I would know that is a no no here. I find that laughable to say the least. As the last time I checked the people here and the false teachers who create the content therein are not the boss of me, God is and I do as He and His Word (Jesus) command me. I call out false teaching as I do not want to see anyone misled. As it is Gods will that we all be saved and we are saved by hearing The word of God and not some motivational/inspirational mumbo jumbo that tells our itching ears what we want to hear. Lies that lead people straight to hell. The empathy you say I lack is the very thing that lead me here to call out to people like you and Simone who are being misled by listening to this nonsense, created by people who are just trying to get paid by you tube for likes, views and subs. So they say things they know people want to hear and that is of the devil and not God!!! As the Word of God tells us what we need to hear and the devil will tell us what we want to hear!!!

You are funny and if I am wrong according to you then the word of God is wrong! And May God have mercy on your soul and I genuinely mean that. What did Jesus say about praying like this in Mathew 6:5-13??? And if He was truly your savior, you would be keeping His commands, as those that Love Him keep His commands. For doing so Jesus will ask the Father to give you another advocate, that will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit and leads into all truth (John 14:15-21). @@BrotherLove3 When you cite Matthew 6:5-13 which has to do with hypocritical prayer, where one party "exalts himself, whilst debasing the other" and ask how my prayer thanking God for what He has done in the lives of people. In verses 5-18 Jesus is simply teaching the disciples about Prayer and fasting and how it should or should not be done. He defines a hypocrite as someone who loves to pray publicly (as you did) on street corners (or social media) or in the synagogues (churches) where everyone can see them." I tell you the TRUTH, that is all the reward they will ever get. " This next verse is Key in the scripture, " But when you pray, go away by yourself, , shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private ( The way Jesus constantly did in and thru the Gospels). Then your Father who sees everything will reward you."
So in your first response you attempted to use a 10$ word in a 1$ sentence. Completely and totally out of context. The same way you are taking one part of Jesus teaching in the cited verses and using it to justify your actions. . . out of context! The verses are not about hypocritical prayer, He just used hypocrites as an example to drive home a point of how not to pray, like they do. Brother it sounds like you are leaning on your own understanding or what someone else taught you to justify the fact that you are doing the very thing Jesus told us disciples (students) not to do when we pray. So no, your explanation did not help or justify what you are doing. It just showed me, you are off in your understanding and discernment of the word of God. So I hope and pray you read the Gospels again and forget whatever you were taught and think you know. . . And take it in verbatim and do as it instructs. Because sin is rebelling against the very word of God and doing what it tells us not to do. Or not doing what it tells us we should. My desire is I do nothing for fashion or show because my relationship with Christ is genuine and personal. He didn’t bring me this far and through storms to keep me silent from talking to Him. @@AlmondJoie Start with the title. . . Which is misleading. My God (nothing like taking ownership of God) always makes a way (very vague). And lets not forget that it is a motivational and inspirational video. Feel good message in other words and tells you what you want to hear and not what you really need to hear. . . Now lets move on to the very first statement out of the gate. "You and I are called to Trust God" and this video was made for public consumption. And although God wants us all to be saved, the Bible makes it clear that is not the case. And when you make a general statement like that. . . "YOU" becomes anyone who reads it and all people were not called to trust God. Then the orator says, now my own perspective on trusting the Lord is I do not have to all the answers. This is not about our own perspectives and all the answers you could ever need are found in Gods Holy Word. This is not about us or our perspectives and opinions or feelings.. . . This is about the Word of God period and as I said every answer you will ever need can be found in the word if only we read, study and search it. . . Which is how we get and strengthen our Faith. As Faith comes from hearing, that is hearing the Word of God (Gospel of Jesus Christ) Romans 10:17!!! and I can go on and on brother/sister. But the reality is there is no half truth, if any part of it is a lie then its all a lie!!! The key is knowing the Word of God wholly and intimately and that is how we are able to identify false teaching or unbiblical teaching, one and the same. Our world has become very lazy and complacent just as the devil wanted and He knows instead of reading the word of God, people would much rather go on you tube and watch a quick video and say they have spent some time with God today, but have they?!? And then they gather in the comment sections and say nice things and call each other brothers and sisters in Christ and know nothing of the people they are calling that. Or of the people that create these videos. And the Bibles commands us to question everything and test every spirit to see if it is of God or something else.

The opening statement, "You and I are called to trust God," was probably made with the belief that those who "tune in" are already believers in Christ, and to also teach the "new babes in Christ" that we all are, as followers of Christ, called to trust Him (Prov. 3:5-6). What others think or believe in their "why" and "purpose" for tuning in to this vid is between each person and the Lord, just as we all are at different stages of spiritual growth in our own individual r'ships with the Lord.
And yes, while the Bible makes it clear that God wants everyone to be saved (1 Tim. 2:3-4; 2 Peter 3:9; Matt. 18:14) God is also clear that everyone will not be saved (Ezek. 33:11; Mal. 4:1-3; Matt. 7:21-23). I understood that to be what you meant, but looking at the way you wrote it, it could be misconstrued as a conflict within the scriptures (i.e., God wants everyone to be saved, but that's not what the Bible says.). Also in your reference to the devil, your initial cap of "He" within the sentence should be "he", to show no honor or glory to him whatsoever. Only God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit deserve "He" within a sentence to show the honor and reverence which only They deserve.
However much you may disagree with the points made in the vid, no doubt the Holy Spirit can still use this vid to draw others to Christ -- even if only as an initial step in going deeper in their own personal study of God's Word (which we all should be doing every day anyway).
Have you thought about producing scriptural content/vids on your own channel? If not, perhaps you should. That way you can personally teach the Word of God in a way that you believe will best honor and please the Lord in the furtherance of His Kingdom. God bless.

It is cool lol as you take scripture out of context to try to justify your actions (Proverbs 3:5+6). We are not all babes in Christ as you state, as I have been a disciple for 33 years now. You also do something the Bible speaks against when you speak for others. We are not assume either, but you are doing a whole bunch of that as well. Half way thru your comment and I am done reading. You sound like you have come to know the Lord thru these videos and not the Word of God. So I am not going to sit here and debate with you when you defending unbiblical teaching and justifying it at the same time!!! As that does not give reverence to God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit. Amin. Trust my Father God as am blessed to be His loving faithful child from the heart. Every day and night believe standing on Gods word is the substance of my life. Thankful that my life in His loving hands. What is in me is greater than anything in the world. Faith is my light and hope. Will not be broken as my trust in the Lord has no doubt. So thankful. Know my heart, my needs f for my best life is knowing always with me, has a plan for my life and I abide in the most high Father God. For He is in my heart, creator of all, all that I am, sunshine that warms me as His loving wings that protect, give me peace and joy that is beyond description, nothing impossible to the most high Father God. Double dose of troubles have made it through as His presence, strength with trust in His love for His faithful loving child is my salvation, love and joy no matter what the world attempts to do will never break me. For what is in me, my heart, soul and a clear mind is my eternal trust that does all for the good. The Holy Spirit feels within me guiding me to do all pleasing to the Lord. The best is yet to come, will be grateful to be ambassador to share His love and light. Shining from my heart, my smile will show the love and beauty my blessings from above. Blessed.
