I just started to Stan them and I didn't know woorim was the youngest then it said he was then I saw the age and I was kinda shocked with how big the gap is from what 88 to 95?
Gap is actually 86 to 95😂 . Just goes to show age doesn’t matter, now does it😊 ….most people are shocked to find out that Hyungho, born in 1988 and Doohoon, born in 1986 are the oldest and their leader MinGyu is the 2nd youngest born in 1990. Many thought Woorim was a lot older because of his voice…so just goes to show how we should not judge a book by its cover. Woorim will be turning 30 soon after military discharge in May 2025….birthday is 10th July 1995.😊 At the end of the day, I don’t care what their ages are…they bring everything to the stage each and every time …the depth of their talents and experience is the reward for being on the planet for a little while and the way they are together, their chemistry, their brotherhood, the amount of joy and laughter they give and the sheer beauty of their voices is what I find so attractive and addictive. The guts and intelligence it takes to be daring, adventurous and sometimes experimental with their music is so inspiring. Each member of the group has these same traits…not wanting to be labelled in a box as to what they should or shouldn’t be…daring to be different to their contemporaries and not necessarily doing what is expected by others. Like Woorim and MinGyu, 2 highly qualified opera singers and also pianists deciding to expand their horizons from that narrow classical field to explore their individual music tastes further.. Then Hyungho, a fully qualified and experienced chemical engineer and at that time an amateur rock singer and guitarist, in a last ditch effort to try for a music career, auditions for a chance to be in a crossover quartet. Finally Doohoon, a musical theatre actor and singer still dreaming of being on a big stage singing different genres also auditions to find another way to express himself musically. That is what we see in their ages…this history, this background , the wins and losses , the rejections at competitions they individually entered at various times, the multiple wins and trophies, this wealth of effort and dedication to what they all love to do. This group Forestella…one of a kind.
I think you can still google it and all the episodes come up in chronological order IN GOOGLE DRIVE . It is JTBC tv PHANTOM SINGER 2 FULL EPISODES. Some performances come up on RUclips ..,but not really including the judges feedback?
No, because they have had millions of photos and fancams taken of them since their journey began and even before Phantom Singer for some of them, like Doohoon, MinGyu and Woorim…you would notice immediately if they’d had surgery. We’ve seen their baby and toddler photos and they just look like older versions ! They all have become fitter and lost weight in some cases. Woorim, still an opera student at 22, & MinGyu at 27 were a little heavier and had unflattering hairstyles for some of their performances initially in Phantom Singer 2017, but that changed as the show progressed. In their photo shoots for their concept looks for their albums and concerts they wear what is known as idol makeup and hairstyles …especially since they signed with Beat Interactive who took over their image and promotion. The hair and makeup is just another tool like their costumes which is used to match their concept album or concert tour series to show them at their best. The makeup and hair people do an amazing job of contouring their faces to show off their best features. And on stage it survives better under all those lights and camera lenses. When they do their livestreams you can see their faces without all the idol makeup and extra hairstyling. .. and I think they still look gorgeous because of who they are as people. It just shines through that they are attractive people both inside and outside due to how they are towards each other , their fans, their elders and how they think and philosophise. Watch their Forrecipe In The Woods Series …you can see them waking up first thing in the morning..no hair and makeup done yet and then the contrast later in the morning. I know there is an English subtitled version…see if RUclipsr ALXSOL has done subtitles for that series or maybe go to one of her previous subtitled videos she has been doing of Forestella songs and ask her if she could do subtitles ..we learn so much about them in that series. Especially when they sit around the fire and talk.…or maybe another RUclipsr BlackDog has done some Spanish subtitling of it?😅 hope you enjoy the journey. Some of their livestream updates with music antics and games are so funny too and they tend to be just casually dressed and in light makeup , if they even wear any at all! Their skin needs a break too!😅 Doohoon more than the others wears makeup everyday because of his musical theatre roles like at the moment with RENT, and then the Forestella makeup for performances alongside that…but he says the idol makeup is much thicker than what he wears for his musical theatre roles. Sometimes he has two shows in one day . The stamina that man has…, especially also being the oldest at 38 this year in July! Their ‘Baby brother’ Woorim will be 30 shortly after returning from military service next year in 2025! 😅❤❤❤❤ I’m actually really envious at how good their skin is, although Doohoon’s always a bit shy about his freckles and a little what looks like acne scarring? Well it hasn’t hurt his career has it..the dimples and sweet smiles make up for it😂

Forestella was really hard hit by covid-19 and had a reversal of fortune because all their concerts were cancelled …so imagine trying to make a comeback with a pandemic still causing jitters and deaths. This is why there are so many tv competitions and shows eg on KBS where some legendary Forestella performances can be found..it’s all they could do to remain in the public eye. JTBC also ran the Phantom Singer All Star series in 2021 which produced some amazing performances. Beat has looked after them well and has signed Woorim now as a soloist too. Hyungho stayed with Art & Artists for his solo rock activities as PITTA …ironic in a way because they’re a tiny classical company who put on PITTA’S sellout rock concerts.😂 He launched his solo act end of 2020 , I believe, so changing companies would have been fatal at that point. Doohoon is signed with Blue Stage for his musical theatre work, his solo activity. Not sure who MinGyu is with currently. Forestella and the 3 big entertainment companies in Korea differ philosophically so would never be an option.
Really? I think Beat Interactive is very good for them especially in providing them time to pursue their solo activities, song selections and even tv appearances.

Had to laugh when I was watching their latest livestream and he was saying how he was stressing about every little detail and wished it was all over already like HyungHo’s first concerts!😅This way he gets more creative control? Along with the responsibility…😅❤ But he’s so organised anyway, so he’ll be great at it.
