Rockstar's "anti crunch" culture to remote working opened the door to an insecure and unsafe working environment. That's why you have so many hacks and leaks. When Rockstar was run as a tight ship, and the company doors were locked and bolted, there was NO leaks at all. Everyone did their job, respected each other, knew the games they made were important.

I feel like sometimes people forget there are literally thousands of employees at Rockstar around the globe, and since GTA VI is undoubtedly their biggest project right now, it's safe to assume at least 80% of their employees are involved with it right now. It's sometimes treated as though these people are undercover agents, like spies inside the company, when in reality there are thousands of people walking among us right now who know way more about this project than anyone not working at Rockstar does. It's kind of crazy how we spotlight these people like their prophets here to tell us the word of a new God, when in reality they literally just finished making the model of a trash can for GTA VI and wanted to converse with some people online.

Honestly there're so many people that either directly work on some kind of media, know such people or have some other way of access to the info and can leak it, but most either ignore them or call them larpers, even if what they leaked ends up being true.
The leaks actually alluded that they were trying to implement dual wielding. One of the videos showed a early version of the weapon wheel with two hand slots, one for the left and the right hand. There are also many clips of characters swapping a pistol between hands
they have way more freedom with it in gta. pistols and sawn off shotgun is nice but 2 uzis? maybe the compact grenade launcher as well. the possibilities are endless with small weapons. dual melee weapons would be cool for clips. the vr mod is gonna be insane to play in like 2030 when it finally drops on pc.

We have a family member that used to work at a certain theme park in Orlando. Before Galaxy's Edge opened, we used to ask what all was going to be in that area of the park. He said, quote "I don't know, they don't let us in that area." Funny how some of the Disney influencers were getting more info to spread as rumour than actual employees.
One main thing you can't forget with Rockstar, is they have always been a forward looking company. Any tech that comes out in a Rockstar game, tends to be brought forward into future titles. You see it in GTA 5 with what they achieved in Red dead redemption and Midnight Club LA
Because they recycle and save their own assets from every game they make, so they build upon their own game engine and model library. ie. wrecked low poly car props from GTA Vice City were still being used in GTA 5.
@MrWolfSnack A lot of companies do this, not just Rockstar. The benefit with rockstars craft over many others is that they make sure sequals feel like a new experience. They aren't perfect, but they show what can be achieved with the right coordination. I mean, the fact RDR2 looks like it does with an engine built for the ps3 speaks volumes. You'd have to look into it to know the same engine from gta4 was used in rdr2 Artists there are reusing assets, but the work put into each asset for a new title is cared for about as much as the main assets being built from the ground up. Doesn't matter if assets are being reused across games, its how they are used and brought forward that matters, and Rockstar shows that.

The police system will have a license plate recognizer so using a stolen car for crimes will be ideal. I love the fact that gta 6 seems to have actual consequences for vehicle choice unlike other GTAs where you're forced to use the car they give you or you can just use a supercar and speedrun the game

That car theft sounds interesting. You can see it may be easier to car-jack than hot wire a car. Especially if this game is set in 2019 or beyond, it’d be easier to get an older car moving by opening the engine than trying to break into an EV with it’s “keys” on the driver’s phone, no way to get in without breaking a window and security measures like an auto-shutdown. They may stay away from hacking though, bit too much like ‘Watch Dogs’.

I hope GTA 6 will be: 1. The scale of San Andreas that the 20 year old game tried to realize, with mutliple cities and activities and jobs. 20 years had passed so it should be possible with today's hardware. 2. The realism effects of GTA IV: Driving physics, npc stumbled backward when shot, deformation, more directly rendered interiors than ever etc... 3. GTA V nailed the car looks but not the customizations, altho I give it to Rockstar for trying with DLC cars released for GTA V Online. Hope the next game nailed both the outside and the inside. 4. Gun building: Mod guns as you like it. Long barrel, short barrel, stock, light stock, heavy stock, ammo types, ammo caliber, under barrel attacments, all the good stuffs and they all have an effect on the gun. Bring back lose all weapons when the player dies or arrested. 5. RDR2 level melee combat, like just port the whole thing over.

If they do the online part right, and turn it more into some VR Chat/Second life thing+coop missions, and then just make the PVP a separate thing, this game is just gonna be massive and even bring in tons of MMO players(actually doing real servers would also be part of this). The market is just wide open for this is they make the right moves. This could easily be the biggest online game on the market if they nail it

GTA5 implemented many things that were first introduced in RDR - such as dynamic puddles forming when raining. And to be fair, RDR2 also used many features first implemented in GTA5 - namely the first person mode was directly ported over from GTA5. So I fully expect GTA6 to use the various features implemented by RDR2 - so the ability to dual wield small arms like pistols and certain SMGs would make sense. And in regards to gore, I don't mind it as long as it's implemented realistically - like in RDR2. What I don't like is gratuitous violence, such as how in many zombie games, the gore is so exaggerated that shooting an enemy in the head with a pistol makes their head explode.
the "That's All" rumor I believe came from a 4chan post masquerading as a legitimate leak. I do however hope That's All is used for the second trailer (heck any of them) since GTA VI is going star 2 protagonists in love it only makes sense to have songs about complicated love in the trailers.

The only reason to believe that this guy is a leaker is that: 1. He guessed a song correctly 2. Yep, Facebook apparently used to do that. The same memo would go out to multiple people, but with subtle changes here and there. Maybe a different word, a comma in one place where the other copy has a full stop and new sentence, minor changs in sentence structure, that kind of thing. It then leaks and you know whose copy it was.
I want to see parts outside of the United States in GTA VI like South America, like Havana, Cuba and Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, they should eventually as like maybe a DLC or part of the base game as many GTA Online vehicles would fit perfectly for a traffic list for those areas like all the older cars fitting Cuba and many of the vehicles we have would be perfect for places like Rio.
TBH it would be interesting to see detailed gore and dismemberment in GTA VI, I mean GTA III had it, I've heard they removed it from following games because of Jack Thompson and all that drama about violent videogames, but now that people don't care that much and games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Rockstar's own RDR2 has it, makes sense for that feature to return to GTA VI, I think.
There’s definitely been multiple legit Rockstar leakers over the years, but Rockstar changed information relating to trailers due to the leaks, creating an expectation that every leaker is fake eventually.
Could be restricted to certain vehicle types or related to certain jobs or missions. If they were to go that route I doubt it'd be something that happened every time you wanted to take a car.
I don’t think they’d make it tedious but making it so occasionally there’s an actual challenge to stealing a car would make it exciting during on foot chases. Depends how they do it. I don’t think they’d make it a mini game like Chinatown Wars but maybe you need to turn the ignition a few times to start or hit a separate button to smash the window if the door isn’t left unlocked (it’s weird that most cars are just unlocked in previous gta games)

I believe the car theft mechanic was the best in Mafia II. Picking the lock to steal a car quietly or breaking a window to save time but also risking the attention of patrolling officers.
My dad works with WITH blizzard. He does large format print for trade shows and he was showing me the " trade show" He's working on right now and it's literally an esports company. The folder next to it was labeled blizzard. He doesn't work for them directly but his company works with blizzard.
I feel like if anything, he was able to watch the trailer early (or clips of the trailer), however I feel as if the claims of things being in the game (other than duel wielding which has been confirmed from the leaks) are just him having fun with the community, however only time will tell.

And they shouldn’t delete or take down posts if the leaks are real. Just keep them all up so people can guess if the leaks are real or fake. If Rockstar is gonna add a little minigame whenever you're trying to steal a car. Then i really do hope you have the option to disable it. Modern cars are imposible to steal, because keys to them have some chips that are required to start the engine, connecting wires wouldn't do anything.

1. The scale of San Andreas that the 20 year old game tried to realize, with mutliple cities and activities and jobs. 20 years had passed so it should be possible with today's hardware.
2. The realism effects of GTA IV: Driving physics, npc stumbled backward when shot, deformation, more directly rendered interiors than ever etc...
3. GTA V nailed the car looks but not the customizations, altho I give it to Rockstar for trying with DLC cars released for GTA V Online. Hope the next game nailed both the outside and the inside.
4. Gun building: Mod guns as you like it. Long barrel, short barrel, stock, light stock, heavy stock, ammo types, ammo caliber, under barrel attacments, all the good stuffs and they all have an effect on the gun. Bring back lose all weapons when the player dies or arrested.
5. RDR2 level melee combat, like just port the whole thing over.

If they do the online part right, and turn it more into some VR Chat/Second life thing+coop missions, and then just make the PVP a separate thing, this game is just gonna be massive and even bring in tons of MMO players(actually doing real servers would also be part of this).
The market is just wide open for this is they make the right moves. This could easily be the biggest online game on the market if they nail it

GTA5 implemented many things that were first introduced in RDR - such as dynamic puddles forming when raining. And to be fair, RDR2 also used many features first implemented in GTA5 - namely the first person mode was directly ported over from GTA5.
So I fully expect GTA6 to use the various features implemented by RDR2 - so the ability to dual wield small arms like pistols and certain SMGs would make sense.
And in regards to gore, I don't mind it as long as it's implemented realistically - like in RDR2. What I don't like is gratuitous violence, such as how in many zombie games, the gore is so exaggerated that shooting an enemy in the head with a pistol makes their head explode.
the "That's All" rumor I believe came from a 4chan post masquerading as a legitimate leak.
I do however hope That's All is used for the second trailer (heck any of them) since GTA VI is going star 2 protagonists in love it only makes sense to have songs about complicated love in the trailers.
I’m still not entirely convinced he’s so knowledgeable about future gameplay. There’s a pretty big jump between seeing the trailer early and actually game knowledge early.

As a desk of a rockstar employee, I can confirm these rumors.
I literally knew a guy who knew a guy that worked at Rockstar North and he was a basic tester and was let go after a Red Dead 2 leak lol
The only reason to believe that this guy is a leaker is that: 1. He guessed a song correctly 2. He has a common phrase for his username that happened to be in the trailer (could be related to anything else) 3. He guessed the trailer date by a day. I don't personally believe that's enough evidence. Everyone of his leaks was him just saying "yes", no other info just "I agree", great leaks bro, he seems sooo knowledgeable about GTA 6
A heads up to anyone who intends to leak something;
Companies will give groups of or one of their employees a fake piece of information to find leakers. Like film and TV with multiple endings being worked on but there was only ever one from the start. It’s to pin-point who’s leaking information. RIP to this guy who thought the trailer would come out on the 6th hahaa!

Yep, Facebook apparently used to do that. The same memo would go out to multiple people, but with subtle changes here and there. Maybe a different word, a comma in one place where the other copy has a full stop and new sentence, minor changs in sentence structure, that kind of thing.
It then leaks and you know whose copy it was.
I want to see parts outside of the United States in GTA VI like South America, like Havana, Cuba and Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, they should eventually as like maybe a DLC or part of the base game as many GTA Online vehicles would fit perfectly for a traffic list for those areas like all the older cars fitting Cuba and many of the vehicles we have would be perfect for places like Rio.
TBH it would be interesting to see detailed gore and dismemberment in GTA VI, I mean GTA III had it, I've heard they removed it from following games because of Jack Thompson and all that drama about violent videogames, but now that people don't care that much and games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Rockstar's own RDR2 has it, makes sense for that feature to return to GTA VI, I think.

There’s definitely been multiple legit Rockstar leakers over the years, but Rockstar changed information relating to trailers due to the leaks, creating an expectation that every leaker is fake eventually.

Could be restricted to certain vehicle types or related to certain jobs or missions. If they were to go that route I doubt it'd be something that happened every time you wanted to take a car.
I don’t think they’d make it tedious but making it so occasionally there’s an actual challenge to stealing a car would make it exciting during on foot chases. Depends how they do it. I don’t think they’d make it a mini game like Chinatown Wars but maybe you need to turn the ignition a few times to start or hit a separate button to smash the window if the door isn’t left unlocked (it’s weird that most cars are just unlocked in previous gta games)

It’s gonna only be for the newer higher tier cars. Think about it from a gameplay prospective, if they decide to do that then it would encourage buying cars which in turn makes money more valuable.

My dad works with WITH blizzard. He does large format print for trade shows and he was showing me the " trade show" He's working on right now and it's literally an esports company. The folder next to it was labeled blizzard. He doesn't work for them directly but his company works with blizzard.
I feel like if anything, he was able to watch the trailer early (or clips of the trailer), however I feel as if the claims of things being in the game (other than duel wielding which has been confirmed from the leaks) are just him having fun with the community, however only time will tell.

And they shouldn’t delete or take down posts if the leaks are real. Just keep them all up so people can guess if the leaks are real or fake. It’s hard to tell sometimes if they’re all posted and kept up. But if they want things kept secret then they shouldn’t make it obvious by only taking real leaks down.

If Rockstar is gonna add a little minigame whenever you're trying to steal a car. Then i really do hope you have the option to disable it. Don't get me wrong i love some challenges and it does make the game more "realistic" But it does get annoying and slows down the gameplay quite a bit after a while. Unless the minigame is somehow FUN to do

2. the game will heavily focus on online (can't play offline)

Well basketball MIGHT actually be legit...I heard on a couple of other RUclips videos and on Reddit that LeBron James is playing a role in GTA 6. So I feel like we could be playing basketball against LeBron James. Now it's not confirmed if he is playing himself or is just voicing a character.

It would be weird if they put Lynyrd Skynyrd and Van Halen songs into the game because I had also namedropped them in that reply.
Calling it now, GTA 6 will set the ridiculous $120 price as a standard, the excuse TakeTwo will give is something like this:
"This game took 10 years to make and it is the next generation Grand Theft Auto. For this premium experience we think the new price tag of $120 is the right price for such a next gen experience".
The other studios will see GTA 6 selling like water at that price and all games will raise to that $120 price tag even if the other games are not 'next gen experiences'.
