i don't get why ea fc decided to take out the ambience for every opening game, take out the player's tifos / team just for a 20 second scene. my god.
🎯 Many of us feel the same and are posting accordingly~So sad old gen is ahead of new gen when it comes to Stadium Atmosphere, Formation showcases, and Lineups with Club and/or League's Anthem that actually made FIFA 23 so realistic🤬This is what I posted on the EA Sports FC 24 Beta Forum -> Career -> General Feedback (Answers HQ): As a competitive player against both real people and cpu/a.i., I want to play against the absolute best players and the best lineup when facing cpu/a.i, while Game Difficulty is on Legendary or Ultimate, as well as Competitive + Player Based Difficulty being ON. The following bullet points will assist with improving this under-appreciated Game Mode, and hopefully, the Devs will invest more time and resources into this even if the Suits are unable to find a way to make more money from it like they do with FUT:
*An overall more intelligent Transfer market and Board Decisions on who they Sell, Loan or Transfer. Also, if there are prospects or other players who will never get playing time during a Campaign, put them on loan to develop.
*More realistic transfers during the Transfer Market. Even when set on Strict, at times a club will Transfer a player to a direct or indirect rival in their League then not even replace the player/backfill the position they transferred.
*Please fix the issue where some clubs will transfer or do not resign a certain position on their club like a LB, for example. They will never bring in a LB for multiple transfer windows, but will sign a ridiculous amount of RBs (who strictly play RB) to compensate for not backfilling the LB position in their club.
*In fifa 23, some clubs would move certain players out of their position(s) when going down a goal or even when going up a goal -- it is so weird and random. Please just ensure all cpu/a.i. controlled clubs keep their realistic formations~game plans throughout an entire match regardless.
*Consistently receiving Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly Awards regardless of the SAVE file and/or if you re-do a simulation. Right now if you back out of the original SAVE or do multiple simulations, the Awards News will disappear. It's like you have one save or simulation to see it.
*More user-friendly, streamlined Edit Player menu. Any time you finish making an edit to a player, then Save or Cancel the edit, the game will make you go all the way back to the Default Club vs letting you continue your edit on the team you were last on which creates a huge inconvenience and waste of time because those 20-45 seconds being sent back to the Default Club/Edit Player start menu to look for a club and their associated player(s) adds up.
*More intelligent ~ User’s Defensive cpu/a.i. need hella improvement when playing~controlling only your Pro during the match. Too easy to get counter attacked and not recover, too many huge gaps in the middle of the park or in the penalty box, no real challenges or pressure when in 1v1 situations or even when being helped by a fellow cpu/a.i. player.
*More intelligent ~ User's Offensive cpu/a.i, for example, cpu/a.i. making unnecessary dribbles, slows down or does some weird motion/mechanic, or passes when they have an opportunity to take the defender(s) on to create a chance for themselves or their teammates.
*While only playing~controlling your Pro, you should still be allowed to set Attack~Balance~Defensive~Ultra Defensive, tell the team to press in when necessary..etc. because to the previous points, the User’s cpu/a.i. are terrible.
*Making sure players throughout a club don't receive an immediate role change, loss of playing time or being removed out of the lineup/rotation all together because of a bad game/poor player rating in a previous match.
*Please add National Anthems during introductions for international matches (Friendlies and Competitive).
*Issue during International and European Competitions (Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League) where it does not show the full introduction of the starting 11s for both teams.

they can't put any player that they can't rate (enter the club late, injury before the rating etc). There is a docu here how they do the rating on yearly basis and how most of the cost for the game goes towards the rating. EA (as much as I hated them) is not in the wrong for once.

That's exactly it. EA now has an army of paid shills to tell the public how great their their trash game is. The sad thing is millions of people will still run out and buy it. This will be the first time in years I won't buy the game on debut. Maybe I'll consider it later if they fix some of the bugs but I'm not holding my breath.

for some reason in cm chelsea and liverpool both end up as el clasico all star teams, one time liverpool signed valverde, de jong, and araujo while chelsea signed rodrygo and militao and tchouameni
the player career is so broken, I transferred to bayern at 90 rated, apparently on a 1 year conditional contract because at the end of the season they didn't want me when I didn't assist 27 in the league as a lone striker, even though I won the ballon d'or and UCL and the league. The only option from here was an agent suggested club which was punjabi fc, the other suggestions didn't want me because I didn't score 5 bicycle kicks or 10 chip shots
Thanks for posting this, as someone who's sick to death of many of these trivial but lazy bugs, I'm not giving money to this shamble of a company this year. I'm not sure whether it's their laziness or incompetence that's most infuriating. Their contempt for career mode especially is disgusting; random bits of code on the screen because it's not been tested properly. People like Greenwood & Steve Cooper with completely warped heads. Things like the graphics saying "End Second Half" when the second half is just kicking off. The transfer system still being utterly idiotic with AI signing 30+ year olds for £100m all the time, it's inexcusable. The youth system being pathetic, most players are generated left footed as if that's the dominant one, and the names pool is awful.
And of course on top of all that, what everyone's been complaining about; the complete removal of the entire pre-game build up, from the teams walking out, club anthems, players shaking hands, and the presentation of the lineups which showcases the broadcast packages too. COMPLETELY GONE. Are this company literally that incompetent or are they doing this deliberately to troll their customers? What possible reason is there to full on remove one of the main features of the game when it comes to 'Matchday Experience' that's apparently so important they have a dedicated trailer for?? Absolute disgrace of a game.

As a career mode player this has definitely convinced me not to pay full price, they hyped it up so much in the trailers yet everything looks the same. A lot of the new cutscenes look so strange too.

Tbf, a lot of stuff like manager faces could be because it is still early. They should really do their day 1 patch on the day of the early access release but they never do. Reason why I never get the ultimate edition

@@mhplays5993 it's only a week lol I would never pay almost half the price extra (80 Euros for the standard edition is already ridiculously high) to play the game a week earlier, especially when the game is still filled with bugs and other issues. I never understood that concept and I don't like the fact that people fall for this shit. Like that's the exact reason why EA and other greedy companies keep releasing unfinished games because they know that there is still gonna be enough people that buy their games regardless. You can still buy fifa points later. A week is not gonna make a difference

When I moved from Brentford to Man United in player career it kept saying I was signing for Juventus. Plus I was playing as a CDM but one of my objectives was to score 12 volleys

They could just release a new game every 2 or 3 yrs with actual new features and content. Just have career mode squad updates with new players just like we get throughout they year, with the new league formats, include or remove promoted relegated teams, new stadiums and kits. So fn simple to do.
Something I like is how you can list a player for a transfer the offers come in more than last year but there’s still the same hairstyles same stuff crazy how a youth player has a better hairstyle than you
If ea just put the features in volta and UT in to career mode, and not take features out every year, the game would be sick
I have a suggestion since people like me are kind of new with FIFA and Mods, could you maybe do a showcase of all the best mods on PC for either EAFC24 or FIFA 23. In my part, I haven't gotten the grasp of it yet and I'd like help.

I can also report a sack glitch, I won the league and cup with Genk and got sacked and instead of letting me choose a new club, I randomly went to fenerbache
Maybe it was the only team? A lot of times getting sacked you only have one option. I got sacked by Lyon on Fifa 23 and the only option was Ajaccio so i wouldn't have minded if it sent me straight there instead of making select it

I think EA sports need to change there motto from 'EA Sports it's in the game' to 'EA Sports that'll do'
It shows how bad it is when they have a whole section dedicated to bugs for FC 24 and they give you stickers and badges for complaining how bad it is.
This version is probably the buggiest one yet! Old bugs and glitches that they eventually solved of the course of the last few years have all resurfaced for this version, its almost like they are doing there 'greatest hits'.
We might get the return of spaghetti arms if we are lucky for the Christmas update.
They also seem to have this thing for removing stuff that worked well or added some realism to the game. This year they decided to take out the starting line up and handshaking at the beginning of the game and also got rid of the January transfer window for the player career mode along with requesting to go out on loan or to be transferred!
I don't think the creators of this game actually watch football or play there own product tbh.
Player Career Bugs:
# When moving to another club squad numbers can be duplicated so that you and your team mate have the same shirt number
# at the end of the season, can only sign with a new club, you can not stay with the current club
# You cannot transfer during the January transfer window or request a loan or transfer
# broken international cut scenes, show your clubs dressing room instead of international.
# MOTM award trophy in cut scene is glitches and on top of the hand and not in it
# your international starting XI bar effects your Club starting XI on return (they seem to be linked in some way to effect each other)
# unrealistic goalkeeper player career: If your a goalkeeper you can get subbed half way through a game if your having a OK game, the only time a goalkeeper would be subbed is if he was having a nightmare, injured or it was a friendly or charity match.
# team line ups have disappeared at the beginning of the match along with line ups and handshakes!
Manager Career Bugs:
# when managing lower league clubs, players that are on international duty you cannot swap the players out of your match day squad before kick off, you have to go back out to your team management and make perminant changes to the team, note: if you have a small sqaud this can be a game breaker as you won't have enough outfield players to play.
# players that come on as substitutes can on occasion turn invisible
# when a player receives a match ball for scoring a hattrick, the ball disappears and the player walks off with an invisible ball under the arm (both player and career mode)
# Substitution board colours the wrong way round (old glitch return) bug is on both Player and Manager Career

How were you able to put button down shirt + sweater + and a blazer on your manager at the same time???
In free practice U put the circle over the opposition player, then press the remove player button… this leaves you and a keeper… I managed to get my game to full crash, every single time I went to release/sack a coach in manager mode (so I could sign a better one)
a feature that EA refuses to fix thats very irritating for immersion is that since fifa 15-16, stadiums in international games aren't packed, not even world cup finals when it was in the game....just looks like two low ranked countries are playing a match and whoever lives at the location of the stadium shows up

I thought the lack of pre game build up was because am in League 2, but they removed them completely? What's the point?
I just bought this game with the big hopes that it would be better than Fifa 15 career mode (last Fifa game I bought), and what a DISASTER. All the glitches i.e: my coaching staff spam emailing me about changing the training sessions when I haven't touched anything, all the faces distorted, NO WALKOUTS or starting 11 shown before match up, they don't show the players warming up, you cannot go back and check historical matches in the calendar to see who scored or gave an assist. Overall this gamemode is a complete DISASTER. I have lost ALL hope for EA, how come fifa 15 career mode is better than 24? Almost 10 years and a new console. Another studio needs to come in and make a good football game ASAP.

i havent watch the video but ive been doing a manager career mode and tactical view, randomly the game will switch to attacking/ultra attacking and concede cause all my players are out of position. dunno if u mentioned it but it drives me nuts
just thought about making the exact same custom tactics for all of em. hindsight is 20/20

I also thing it’s dumb that in the training sessions you can’t change the players. Say if a player already has the trait of the training session you can’t change the player to someone who doesn’t have it.

It was announced that Hazard retired.Its ashamed that EA can't add every customization that's in other game modes to other game modes & also that they removed features I hope a big update happens but I know it won't.
