Saddleback Mountain, also known as Santiago Peak, is an intense 15 mile out and back trail with steep inclines and phenomenal city views, with enough challenges to push yourself to the limit. At almost 6,000 elevation, the peak is the highest point in Orange County, offering incredible views that span from Catalina Island to Orange and Riverside counties.
Santiago Peak is the southern mountain of the Saddleback landform in Orange County, California. It is the highest and most prominent peak of both the Santa Ana Mountains and Orange County; it also marks a border point with Riverside County. The peak is named for Santiago Creek, which begins on its southwestern slope. During most winters, snow falls at least once on the peak. A telecommunication antenna farm with microwave antennas sits atop the peak.
The Acjachemen referred to the peak as Kalawpa, with the nearby village of Alume meaning "to raise the head in looking upward," in reference to the mountain.
Santiago Peak is a radio site with buildings owned by American Tower, Crown Castle, MobileRelay Associates, Day Wireless, Orange County Communications, the United States Federal Government, the State of California, and Southern California Edison, among others.
Santiago Peak provides radio coverage over much of Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, and San Diego counties. It houses both broadcast and two-way communications facilities on virtually every frequency band, including FM broadcast, VHF low- and high-band, UHF, 800/900 MHz, and microwave. - Авто/Мото

Thanks for hosting. Was definitely fun and a must to go hang out with y’all.
Got me a Crosstrek Wilderness 5 weeks ago, and I'm gonna be hitting the Maple Springs Road trail on Sunday. I appreciate this video! I'm stoked to find that there's a play area up there. I've never done any off-roading, so it's nice that there's a place nearby where I can learn and practice
Wow! Too bad I missed this night run! It looks amazing over the clouds and the night drone shots are awesome! Good work kuya Jeff!! 😎
Yeah but there's always a next one Kuya and thank you 😁
Nice made that trip hundreds of times on my V-Strom 15+ years 20 thousand miles approximately lot’s of fun
I want to go up the India truck trail on the north side today, but the road is closed? What time does this road open? Are there other open roads to go up?
As far as I know the maple spring is the only road open to go up to the peak
I live in So. OC. How do I find out when your next trip to Santiago peak will be? Salamat!
