11:49 Just to highlight something I found very interesting about Jinx in this scene: We know Cassandra had actually already built the ventilation system and that is why the people of the underground could breathe better air but Caitlyn slowly rereleased it from the big tank it was supposed to be left in. She used it the opposite way of how her mother captured it. Then in this scene, Sevika (following Jinx's plan) releases all the air that carries The Grey to the surface so that it cannot be used against Zaun. Piltover has more open air so it didn't affect them a lot though but at least the underground is safe from that now Jinx said it wasn't supposed to be this way because she had wanted to do this as an act of when she dies because she was ready to die in the fight. She had told Sevika to release it after that happens as a final good act (and a goodbye) from her. I truly believe that in episode 2, when Jinx says 'to finish what's left of my family,' she is referring to herself. Let's remember that Jinx always plans to die; let's not forget the scene with Ekko. She herself confirms it: 'Cause no matter what I do, I just can't seem to die.' It seems like she is a jinx to everyone except herself. I guess in the next act we will see how this action of Jinx (who didn't plan to be alive to see it) impacts the population of Zaun and herself
Damn ure right, i went frame by frame and nothing was in front of jinx's head, vi wasnt in danger and wasnt even a close dodge either by jinx. She's a good shot and wouldnt have missed her head if she aimed at it.
I think it's incredibly important to realize Ambessa's endgame here. She's on the run from something in her homeland; that something has decimated her holdings and her money, killed her son, has threatened her legacy and the rest of her family to the point she feels it necessary to alienate her only remaining child in order to keep her safe. She's orchestrated an attack on Piltover ONLY WHEN Piltover's response to the bombing of the council chambers did not include the weaponization of hextech. She was ok with the wholesale slaughter of the citizens and enforcers as long as Mel was safe and there were enough witnesses to show her Noxian troops' strength off to. She's making quick moves because she's being put into a corner by Black Rose. Quick moves are generally pretty easily found out by others; this is why Mel's assistant and informant duo penetrated her plans so easily. Had Black Rose not captured Mel, Ambessa's plans would have been partially foiled, as Sola(?) would have been exposed as a shimmer-user. It probably would have derailed that whole power-conferral scene at the end there; again, hasty plans cause problems. Ambessa absolutely needs power. She needs Caitlyn to essentially hand over Piltover to Noxus; or more specifically, to Ambessa herself. She needs the hextech weapons Piltover can create to combat Black Rose and whoever else has it in for her in Noxus. But again, haste is making waste. She doesn't know about the problems with the hexcore.
Noxus has crazy stuff. The black rose uses that nuts magic which is countered by rune magic from the body guard. First seen on the blade of the champion Riven, that was expanded upon in Legends of Runeterra cardgame. Another fckn crazy thing Noxus has is the Grey Legion which is literally a zombie army, because blood magic is always a good idea
I'm pretty sure that Riot Games themselves foots the bill for Arcane, Netflix is just the distributor. Studio Fortiche (a French animations studio) produces the show.
Personal opinion here, I don’t think Vi had it in her to kill Jinx. Over the last three episodes we’ve just seen her continually badmouth about Jinx to what I believe is her trying to convince herself and hype herself up. But when kid gets in the way and show that Jinx still has a human side she decides to stop Cait because of the kid. But this doesn’t really make sense, if Vi wanted to she could’ve easily picked that kid up and let Jinx get shot, but instead she uses the kid as an excuse to avoid killing her sister.
Yeah she had no issue when a kid sided during their raid against silco. But the moment an orphan and her sister get involved it destroys her attempts to demonize her sister. Giving her the perfect scapegoat. She can pretend she stopped Cait for ‘the child’ but she really did it because of her sister.
Uhm everybody their getting with that gas aren’t criminals lol as we’ve seen with the main characters and the homeless kid in the show that there are regular people getting hurt by this I think this scene is legit meant to show police brutality. I just think a lot of the audience likes that stuff in real life lol so no one’s noticing quite yet
@@itsgonnabeokay9341 so it's okay to contaminate the entire city looking for what? 5 people?? when they already could barely breathe down there?? okay not trying to defend jinx but already doing it her attack was DIRECTLY to her oppressors

This Act was so good!! Aftermath from Jinx actions. Can I just get some clarification. In the end, did Caitlin get promoted to some sort of leader of the Enforcer’s?
@@LatetothePartyawe my bad. I literally binged second half of S1 plus this Act so I was all over! I even skipped it back to see if I missed any dialogue. Great act though!! Do you think Jinx will take this kid on? I can’t believe Caitlin shot Jinx finger off!!😢
Named dictator in the original roman sense. Romans in time of need used to name a general dictator & give him all powers to resolve the issue. The senate, tribuns, plebe & democracy were shut down
The better example would actually be Adolf Hitlers rise to power. You could take either Jinx' attack on the council or the orchestrated attack on the ceremony in Episode 1 as a parallel to the Reichstagsbrand 1933.
@@PollenEye that wasn't a miss, she shot the finger on purpose to get her to stop hitting Vi. Caitlyn never misses, literally that is her entire character in League of Legends in the gameplay and lore. And since Arcane and League are one canon as confirmed by Riot Games, then that means Caitlyn never misses in Arcane. It is literally established in lore. She has the best shot in the entire League universe, never misses.
You're right about Caitlyn not going to miss, don't let the Arcane locals gaslight you into thinking otherwise. They act so superior yet know nothing about League lore, which clearly states Caitlyn never misses she has the best shot in the universe. And since Arcane and League are one canon, that applies to Arcane. But yes, the kid would've been traumatized and another Jinx would've been born.
How delusional lol. I hope it's bait, but in the event that its not. Imagine thinking Arcane fans MUST read every story article that exists to understand a show, and are somehow liar's for providing a very reasonable opinion that Caitlyn doesn't have 100% accuracy with no collateral. And since You're going round acting superior, yet seem to know nothing about League's lore. Caitlyn, because Arcane is "canon" as of last year, has conflicting backstories. So even if people went to go read every story article, it's not even true! Who knows what's true, and lore-accurate, it can change at the whims of Riot. So calm down, enjoy the show, let people have their perfectly reasonable opinions, and kindly provide tid-bits from the lore that could interest them in learning more if you so wish.

This whole series has been visually stunning starting from the very first episode of Season 1, but in this episode they really outdid themselves.
Cait had missed already though, when she got Jinx's finger.
