I agree him as head of weststar or as a share holder when he first came into Dallas was brilliant casting and I think jr seduces his wife ,or I think jr tricked her to sleep with him, and he team up with sue Ellen to be new chairman of weststar ,I think that how I remember. Jr took over from Jeremy Wendell,

Be funny is Clifff had quietly slipped into a copper mining business somewhere and made a fortune far better than any Ewing family member. Copper and platinum make billions for some lucky soul out there.
JR looks old.I wish this movie would have been in 1993 before all his major health problems. And there are some differences between a Lorimar production and one from WB. But I still think it was a good movie.
Larry Hagman was still handsome in 1996, as a matter of fact he still looked good when he was dying.

It's really nice to see some of the supporting characters from the original series here. Harve Smithfield the lawyer, and Sly the secretary.
Too bad the 2012 TNT Revival ignored the events from this movie (JR Returns) along with the other Dallas Movie, "War of the Ewings."
