In this video, David shows us three DIY ideas for Memorial Day which can also be left out through Independence Day. David uses the red, white, and blue combination to create a set of floral basket arrangement, two vases with drop ins, and he decorates a spiral topiary tree.

The goatee is most becoming--midlife crisis or not! I can see how having a child "halfway to 30" would be disconcerting. Time has a way of marching on and those moments when we realize just how far it's marched aren't always the most pleasant.
The double baskets turned out beautifully! I like how intuitively you put it all together.
The vases are super cute--the shorter vase is definitely my favorite. :)

You need to get that lady a cake! LOL I use my Patriotic arrangements for Memorial weekend through July, it includes Flag day June 14, & July 4. I then bring it back for Labor day weekend and Veterans day.

Still sending healing prayers to you both! ...Here's a question regarding the baskets, but before I ask, I wanted to share an idea that this centerpeice inspired:
First, I was thinking of using plastic or teracotta pots (one without a hole a little smaller than the large basket, and a narrower pot (or plastic container with a hole), placed upside down on top of the saucer;
Next, I would place the smaller basket on top (making sure that the pot/container was strong enough to hold another vessel (with no holes), my thinking is to place an electric pump hidden in the bottom saucer with a half-inch diameter pipe going through to the top), so that water can cascade from the top tier of the basket to the bottom... Here's where it gets a little complicated... in the bottom basket, you can camoflauge everything with plants, but on the top, I was thinking of using some sort of porous (light-weight rocks) stack.
So getting back to my question: is the "wire mesh" strong enough to hold something like this?
Second, do you sell light-weight statuary that can be added as an accent to this type of creation?
I would love to get your thoughts on this...

Everything looks so beautiful ☺️!! I’m with you Jen, anytime is Christmas time😍, I say bring it on!!! My sister in law & I bake gingerbread cookies in July, not necessarily on the 4th but very close to it 😂!! So glad David is doing some better, praying that he will be completely healed before you’re busy, busy season starts🙏!!
