It really is a beautiful book! And although some of the styles aren’t to my tastes I just love it! Oohhh I’m so lucky to have a ravenclaw in my subscribers 🥰🥰
I have to be honest, I had this on pre-order and was really looking forward to getting it, but I was quite disappointed when it arrived. I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting, but it wasn't this, I have seen much better looking patterns out there and think that is perhaps why I haven't attempted any of them, yet. Maybe they will look better made up than they do in the pictures, I'm not sure, but maybe at some point, I will give one of them a go. Thanks for another great book review xx
I’ve still not made a thing from this book and I’ve had it for ages now!! Maybe I’ll have another look through and see if anything inspires me. I’m a massive Harry Potter fan (so is my daughter!).

My kids are both dyslexic so when they were little (32 + 38 now), I used to read the books to them, until they felt like they wanted to read a page to me, then, bit by bit, they would read more and more pages to me. It was a long process, but it got them to the point where they were happy to read books by themselves. I've picked this book up over and over again, each time thinking, right, I'm going to make something, but I just can't find anything that jumps out at me😞😞 Maybe it's time to look through again, maybe it's just one of those books that will just sit on the shelf for decoration, lol. xxx

It would be so neat if you could show us how to crochet their robe and ensamble's . I am a hand's on learner and I can't make heat or tail's from a book

Did you by any chance make the sorting hat? 😅 I've been crocheting for 20 years and am by no means a beginner but that pattern drives me nuts with the second short row set 🙈
I made the dobby and it turned out really good. I'm now trying to make the sorting hat and it is just doing my head in. The pattern itself doesn't explain enough of what to do. I need more photos of certain areas. I've been trying on and off now for quite sometime. I've tried contacting the designer but I'm not really sure to how to go about that. I'm ready to give up on this one. Do you have any suggestions.

I am currently doing Donny and really stuck on the head where it says to insert pipe cleaner. I don’t understand how it’s written in where I insert it and how. Any help would be appreciated
@@starlightandstitches The doily was easy. I had to take my time with the mandrake, because there were stitch styles I have never done before. But they explained everything very well. I was able to complete both with no problem.

Haha! As gilderoy lockheart would say- it’s pretty obvious 😂😂 found out the other day my mum is a ravenclaw (my daughter made her do the sorting hat), she’s the first one in our family so now we have the whole set of houses!!
@@starlightandstitches hahahaha amazing quote placement there. Glad u have the full set, sadly not enough potterheads in my family to get them all. Have u seen the aldi special buy amigurumi kits? I really like their hedwig, simple but very sweet.
@@starlightandstitches there are better designs out there but they are pretty good for a kit. They look better as part of the set (got hp, hg and rw done too) and with a few alterations

I'm griffindor haven't grown up either,had harry potter crochet kits for my birthday,and just starting dobby my favourite character.
My daughter LOVES Dobby!! She was heartbroken when he died! (Also- never grow up… it’s a trap 😂😂)
