Billie Eilish definitely has a similar dark theme going on, but it's...idk how to say it? I haven't seen any of her songs truly...touch on insecurity like Au/Ra's, it's more just a general spooky vibe, y'know? Not sayin either one is better than the other at all, just pointing out the differences I see. Similar dark pop styles, but covers different topics. I just want everyone to not pit different artists against each other, and just appreciate their differences and similarities.

This song really did help with my fears of what diabolical may lurk in the dark. I plugged in my earplugs, turned off the lights, up the volume, and danced. It felt amazing. This also kinda helps my anxiety cause I can relate to this a lot. Thank you. I really love your music!

All I can say about her music is greatness
I was born with depression and I have trauma. Other people have always wanted to micromanage how I deal with it and to ‘rise above it’ and that nothing I feel is real and my brain is ‘tricking me’ all the time and I can’t trust myself. This song is basically saying to me ‘Actually, you can’t get rid of depression with your thoughts. But you can still thrive in spite of it. How you feel IS real. Everyone has felt this way. It’s okay and you’ll be okay. Befriend the darkness.’ and then I just relax and let the negative thoughts exist and I’m surprised that they don’t seem to hurt me but rather I’m immensely relieved that I’ve stopped denying they exist and I continue to do my things that I’m doing while secretly surrounded by darkness.
