I have has an older release in my collection for a long time… seeing how nice yours came out, I will definitely be building mine! Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you for the compliments, much appreciated. The "blue stuff" on the ends of the axles are just the bare plastic. I tape off the ends of the axles to keep paint off of them so the wheels will fit better. As for the paint, I used a combination of Tamiya, Vallejo, and Mission Models paints. Thanks for watching and commenting. Have a great week.
Very cool. Probably not in cereal box but sent by mail in response to sending in 1 or more box tops with $0.25 or $0.50. I’ve been looking at this kit so, this was very helpful. 👍👌
Thank you, Sir. I thought it may have been a box type situation with Kellogs. My parents never let me do box top thing. You should totally pick up one ofnthese, fun easy build. Thanks for watching, and have a great day 😀
The clear blue over the silver looks fantastic.
Thanks Dan, I really like how it tuned out, too. Have a great weekend 👍

Great build and detail work! What was the blue stuff on the ends of the axles? Did you use Tamiya acrylics on the entire build?

This was Monogram's first all plastic kit. The orginal issue was in acetate plastic.
