He says “study to show yourselves approved unto God, a workman that needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”. He doesn’t say to study leaders, and divide their truth. He also says “submit yourselves unto God”. I would genuinely like to know the thought process behind this comment!!

Really enjoyed listening to this, we went on a church impact team and found a real way to reach people was to ask if there was anything they wanted us to pray for (healing etc) and were able to pray for healing for a couple of people and share the gospel And we saw God heal and the people were so impacted. Gods still healing and still working through power and wonders.

Thankful I found your channel. This was very encouraging and convicting. I want to fast but I have a medication that I have to take every 12 hours (so twice daily) with food. Taking it with food makes it absorb. So I feel like I can’t do prolonged fasting. What else could I do instead? What about fasting from social media or skipping a meal in the middle of the day? Hebrews 10:24-25 tells us to be in fellowship with one another. I like what Paul said to the church at Corinth. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. As individuals, we are to take the Word of God and share the Gospel. Signs and Wonders are awesome when the Lord uses those things and inviting people to church is great. Yet we are all called to share the Gospel I have seen more people come to Christ one on one than preaching from the pulpit. We got to get intentional sharing the gospel with the people around us and who he puts in front of us.

Allie, through the generations after the apostles had all passed away, like today Christians back then began to lose focus on God. The devil persuaded Christians through worldly philosophers and influencers up till today distorting the truth. But as the word says God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, He will not change. God loves to perform miracles for those who believe. Jesus himself said before ascending to heaven, that in the last days those who earnestly seek and wait on the Holy Spirit will receive double portion compared to those who were apart of the first day of pentecost. We will receive the former and latter rain, double portion. Praise God for those like yourself and myself who seek His will constantly and earnestly, be ready to receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, He is at hand. Remember Jesus' ministry was performing of miracles, healing etc. It made people want to know this person who healed them and so were receptive to listening to His voice as He spoke. Imagine once we're filled with the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit, literally healing people especially those who don't know the Lord, we'll be able to reach the multitude. i’m so sorry for leaving another long comment. i’m desperate for help and prayer and hope. i need help. i’m still struggling with so many bad thoughts, my mind is at war even while i sleep. i wake up with bad thoughts that leave me panicked and afraid of God and His word because of how condemned it makes me feel. and when i call out to Jesus i’ll have thoughts that say “No” or “i’m not willing to help you”. I keep praying, rebuking the thoughts, speaking scripture. spending time in the word, seeking to just listen to God but i feel caught up in this endless torment of bad thoughts. thoughts that accuse, and make me feel like God wants nothing to do with me. Thoughts that suggest that God’s done with me. Or that He’ll refuse to listen to my prayers. I know that His word is the truth, but i’m struggling to believe it for myself. i start thinking that maybe i’m just trying to deceive myself if i don’t believe these thoughts. i’m exhausted from fighting. i feel so worn out and torn apart. i’m trying to just remain humble and ask myself what i could be doing but i feel like i have nothing left in me. (making sure im not doing anything to open doors). (i’m pretty strict with what i watch and listen to) but i just end up confused. these thoughts are so overbearing and overwhelming. i feel consumed. i can’t think of anything else. it’s been weeks now. i’m seeking help in every way that i can. it’s hard to lean on God or seek Him when i feel afraid of Him. when i continue to press in and try to continue reading my word or praying sometimes it just intensifies. which makes me feel so defeated. all i hear is accusation. i open His word and struggle with reading it without hearing it as if everything was aimed at me (i struggle with scrupulosity and religious OCD) which makes it incredibly difficult to press in, and painful. emotionally. it hurts so much. and it feels frightening because i want to love God and love His word but it makes me feel like He’s very mad at me. Hello Gabriella, The reason why the devil is trying to confuse you, is because he knows that he is loosing grasp on you. He knows that you love God and want to get closer to him. The devil will do anything in his power to stop you from getting closer to God. He knows just how much you matter to God and how important you are for the kingdom of God. The closer you are to your breakthrough the more he will attack. The devil knows our weakness and will use that to stop us from getting closer to God. For what you said, it looks like you feel guilty as though God cannot forgive you and that he condemns you. You must always remember that he loves you so much that he gave his son for you. When we ask for forgiveness, he not only forgives but he also erases that sin from his mind. You are the apple of his eye and he loves you just as you are. He will never push you away. He is always willing to take you in and work with you to overcome anything. He is not looking for perfection, he just wants your heart. This is very important, anytime you feel as though God is rejecting you or you feel bad about your walk with God, it is the devil putting those thoughts in your mind. I recommend that you fast and pray and ask God to free you from the thoughts that the enemy has been tormenting you with. Keep rebuking the devil and the negative thoughts. The devil will eventually have no option but to flee. God loves you so so much. You are the heart of his life, I promise!!! He wants you so much, he longs to be with you!! So believe in his love and forgiveness and also forgive yourself. If you fail again, dust yourself off and keep going until God removes your weakness. It may take a while, but you just need to persevere. He already forgave you!! So keep going in the name of Jesus!!!! I will be praying for you!!! Also, remember the story of Job, he was put through trials. Job kept his mind on Jesus and once the trials were over God restored his life 2 fold. Keep your eye on Jesus but with a renewed mind knowing that he forgave you and loves you and that he is on your side. When we reach out to him, he reaches right back. The devil is a liar!! As they mentioned a few times. You live for an audience of 1. You need to find out from Christ if that is His plan for you. But I also believe it wouldn't be wise. You wouldn't have a partner to share and grow your faith with. And living a good life seems good, but we are called to live for Christ, not just living a good live. A person who doesn't have that relationship with God wouldn't understand that, and it could likely make your marriage quite difficult
