- I recently came across a video of 11 people ranking every extreme demon in geometry dash, based on decoration, and ranking them 1-10, and averaged the score. They uploaded 2 videos, 1 of the 50 best extreme demons based on their average score, and one on the top 50 worst. So I reached out to the creator of the video, Catani, and asked if I could react to it, and he said I could! So here is my reaction to seeing the top 50 best extreme demons based on deco, for the first time.

Aeon's opinions are either good for the most part but absolutely one of the biggest disgraces your asshole can afford when they're bad
I expected people disagreeing with some of my ratings, so I'll explain a bit of my reasoning for the most controversial ones.
*-Frozen Cave:* I like the part at like 45% (the one that appears in the video), the rest is visually average, has some ups and downs and the only consistent thing is the theme.
*-Maybe Possibly Thing:* it does fine for what the level is, but the deco itself is kinda messy and fairly repetitive, it didn't catch my attention so I put a low score, I didn't even know people liked it so much.
*-Blade of Justice:* I think it looks pretty good for an old level and totally aged like wine, maybe it could have been 9/10 but 10/10 doesn't hurt either and remember that my ratings are based on personal taste as everyone's scores here.
*-Sunset Sandstorm:* Another themed level, this was more visually appealing than Frozen Cave for me, I love the colours in this level. The reason why I "only put a 6" (it's not even a bad score but some people think otherwise) is because the designs (one of the things that I like the most in levels as I also kinda like making designs myself in GD) are fairly repetitive and became a bit uninteresting for me after a while and the level itself is not the cleanest one to be fair, but again, I kinda like it.

*-Why I/we rated many glow levels with a very high score:* This is in part true, but it's not because we're biased (although in personal opinions there will be a tendency to prefer certain kind of levels). Glow styled is the most used style in Extreme Demons (and probably in 2.11 in general) so it's obviously there will be more good and more bad/average glow-styled Extremes than levels of other styles. There are glow Extremes that I rated kinda low (Disentombed, Kappa, Coke Master, etc.) and also non-glow Extremes that I rated very high but doesn't appear in this ranking because my fellows didn't like them too much as I did (Daydream 9/10, MELTDOWN 9/10, Torgue 8/10, etc.). And there are really good non-glow levels in this top 50 that I love, as Apex, Nhelv, Halberd, etc.
*Remember the ranking was based on deco, the visual appeal, not considering the time the levels were made in. And remember all the ratings are based on each one's taste for deco, we did this for fun and you all can rate the Extremes too and share your opinions, I'll be glad to read them.*
They should have At least some kind of respect for you and your opinions, its not cool at all to harass someone because he thinks something different.

Ngl I completely agree with all 3 of those. I think they're massively overrated. I mean don't get me wrong they're good levels but a lot of parts are super messy and incoherent. BoJ as a 10 though, I don't know about that.

It might be a bit of a stretch but I think it's safe to say that Aeon doesn't like Ocular Miracle idk though that's just my hypothesis. Again, take it with a grain of salt who knows I could be wrong idk.

from what I can tell, this list is mostly judged by based glow/design fans.
I personally would put Frozen Cave high but not as high as Halberd. The reason why is because they both are very well themed art levels. The only differences is that Halberd has more open space, a story in the level and it is made by 2 people.
Faith is a level that I always think is a core mess. You look at it while playing and think it's decent but once you look a static image of the level, you won't see the level same as before.
Other than that, the ratings are alright for me. But it also got me thinking that we should have more Extremes with styles other than glow/core/design deco to make them have more variants. That's all I have to say.

I tried to be unbiased when I ranked it but since I've watched it so many times the effects lost their charms for me and alot of people ranking it so thats why it isn't higher
Something that really has to be taken into consideration is that this list is basically a mixing pot of the opinions from 11 people. I highly doubt there was any discussion from any of them on what their ratings should be. This is just the results when it comes to averages of all the scores

sunset sandstorm is so overrated man
Faith does not deserve to be 14. It's not nearly as good as a lot of other levels up here, only one or two good parts(HJFod). However, I fully agree with Diligence at 2. Zafkiel, INeo, Ji, and the endscreen are timeless parts, with Ji and Zafkiel possibly being the best parts in any extreme deco-wise.
Personally I like that crystalline style, but top 15, no, I would agree with 25-20
Both Faith and Diligence shouldn't be at the top. Diligence looks good but there are some shitty parts on it that makes it much worse. Also I don't think Ji and Zafkiel's parts are the best in any extreme considering kwms' parts but yeah they're among the best

you do sorta gotta admit for the Ocular Miracle levels, even for people that LOVE the level (me) its more about the overall atmosphere and build up with the song than the individual deco, a lot of the parts in there just get the job done and nothing more
When I saw Diligence get #2, I thought Reverie would be #1 and my soul died. It’s weird because I think Reverie should be the only OM level on this list

How to make cookies
Makes about 40 cookies
What You Need
Ingredients
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar (light or dark, but we prefer dark!)
1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter, very soft
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon table salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Equipment
Large bowl
Mixing spoon
Measuring cups
Measuring spoons
Baking sheet
Cooling racks
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°. Spray the cookie sheet with nonstick spray or you can use a liner. Silicone liners (like silpats) and parchment paper both work very well.
2. Mix together the two sugars. Be sure to break apart any hard chunks of brown sugar and get the two sugars fully mixed. We prefer dark brown sugar because we think it has a deeper, more caramel flavor, but light brown sugar will make your cookies taste a bit sweeter.
3. Mix the softened butter into the sugar in globs. This helps really incorporate the butter and the sugar.
4. Mix in the eggs one at a time. Crack the eggs directly into the bowl with the butter-sugar mix, and then use your spoon to lightly beat the eggs before stirring them into the butter and sugar.
5. Measure and mix in the vanilla, salt, and baking soda. Mix the batter as much as possible right now. Break apart any remaining clumps and make sure the batter is a consistent color throughout.
If you prefer, you can mix the salt and baking soda with the flour in a separate bowl instead of adding them now. This ensures that these dry ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the batter, but we've never had any trouble adding them in at this point. Honestly, we just prefer to save ourselves an extra bowl to wash!
6. Add the flour all at once. At this point, you want to mix the batter as little as possible to avoid forming too much gluten. Stop mixing as soon as there is no more visible flour on the dough or in the bottom of the bowl.
7. Add the chocolate chips all at once and use a folding motion to incorporate them into the batter.
8. Scoop the batter onto your baking sheet, spacing the balls of dough roughly 2 inches apart. We use a tablespoon and measure out slightly rounded balls - they're about the size of pingpong balls. You can certainly go larger or smaller as you prefer!
9. Bake the cookies for 9-11 minutes. Take them out when they look puffy, are set around the edges, and dry to the touch. Let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet. As they cool, they will collapse back on themselves.
10. Transfer the cookies to a rack to finish cooling completely. Bake the rest of the cookies in batches.
Recipe Notes:
• Mixing cookies by hand, as we like to do, makes your cookies denser and chewier.
• You can certainly make chocolate chip cookies with a hand- or stand-mixer. Your cookies will likely spread out more in the oven, making the edges crispy and the middles tender.
• Cookie dough can be refrigerated for several days before baking. This will actually deepen the caramel flavors in the cookie. Cookie dough can also be frozen for several months.
Fun Fact: if 2kb would've given Frozen Cave a 10, it would've had an average of 8.9, which would've placed it at #12-14, instead of #35.

personally id give it like a 6, i dont like how glowy it is and i just think a lot of it looks really weird. and the level of detail in it doesnt make it better for me it just makes it feel cluttered in some places, and some of the choices like making dna looking things at the start out of glow pieces is just weird to me
@@ItsRubyGD I guess i can see why, it's very glowy and extremly detailed, I can see why people think it's overdecorated but I personally still really like it and think it looks amazing! :) Personal opinion, everyone likes different styles. (Same like, one of my favorite hard demons is "Sedulous" by Samifying. I think it's absolutly gorgeous! Looks awesome and flows really well! :)

Most of the personal scores for Astral Divinity were 7-8/10 (also one 6/10 and one 9/10) so it got 7.6 average.
On the other hand, Cromulent got really low scores (between 4 and 6, also one 3/10 and two 7/10), so it got 5.7 average.
