import pack.*; will give an error.

Sir,why we are using import java.util.Scanner for pre defined packages. And. import pack.packdemo as the util is package name and the Scanner is class name why it adds extra word called "java".

If you use * in with import as like import. lan. *; the all methods are accessed in to your destination programme

If more than one class is coded in a file which class name should be used to save the file..

make class and its method public by using access modifier public in package then it will run properly....

In the user defined package, you should mention class as "public" then only it can access
