I also hate doing glass, but Stoners Invisible Glass foam in a can is very good for cleaning and not streaking - not too expensive.
Or a couple of Norwex cloths...their cleaning anti-bacterial cloth to clean the glass, then their Glass Cloth to shine/dry - again no streaks
