Polynesians called him Manoali'i or Kāmohoaliʻi...
Lots of stories left back in our history about our shark God. You gotta understand that polynesians traveled the world. Hawaiians, especially! We traveled to many different countries in europe, both sides of North and South america, we were a part of the United Nations as the Kingdom of Hawaii. We had treaties with many big name countrys as the Kingdom of Hawaii! So seeing big sharks and having a Shark God isn't so far-fetched. Fijians and Hawaiians have major cultural ties! I love fiji!

I think it would have looked more realistic if the shark wasn't quite so chunky. Giving it a tiger shark's body with fins like an oceanic whitetip would have been a better choice.

How do archeologist differentiate the difference between religion/belief, a legend or a myth?
Like Greek gods, Roman gods and Egyptian gods are all considered as myths, but the Indian gods are part of the Hindu religion.

And if you think that’s a crude comment, think about some chick caging you up and riding around on your back and tossing goldfish at you like a slave
