в тексте перечисляются предметы и ситуации которые героиня видела в прогулке (в одной из прошедших ночей)
любой тексте это перечисление -- новости перечисляют события а (например) учебники перечисляют факты связи и выводы
      но лично Ваше мнение правильное

The song is written to the poems of Marina Tsvetaeva, a poetess of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Which she wrote after breaking up with her loved one and it is about loneliness, about how a person experiences separation and cannot sleep. She seems to be in a trance and does not understand whether she is walking at night or whether it is her shadow.Tsvetaeva wrote strong emotional poems. Diana sang another song based on Tsvetaeva’s poems, “I will win you back.” Which says that she will argue and fight even with God for her loved one.

Hi. Marina Tsvetaeva wrote the poem "In a huge City" for her collection "Insomnia" at the beginning of the last century. The poetess left her husband and her daughter for her beloved woman. She explained her action, "Loving only men is such a bore." After the betrayal of her mistress, Marina returned to her husband. She began a period of depression and insomnia. Marina walked around the huge night city alone. This is a poem about loneliness among people.
Brandon Stone wrote the music, and Diana sang the song so expressively that you can imagine every detail.

This song by Diana Ankudinova based on poetry by poetess Marina Tsvetaeva.
In my enormous city it is - night...
In my enormous city it is - night,
as from my sleeping house I go - out,
and people think perhaps Tm a daughter or wife
but in my mind is one thought only: night.
The July wind now sweeps a way for - me.
From somewhere, some window, music though - faint.
The wind can blow until the dawn - today,
in through the fine walls of the breast rib-cage.
Black poplars, windows, filled with - light.
Music from high buildings, in my hand a flower.
Look at my steps - following - nobody.
Look at my shadow, nothing’s here of me.
The lights - are like threads of golden beads
in my mouth is the taste of the night - leaf.
Liberate me from the bonds of-day,
my friends, understand: I’m nothing but your dream.
    July 17, 1916. Moscow

У Дианы на её канале к трекам правильные переводы. Там есть англоязычный человек, который всё переводит в правильном контексте. Это не авто перевод. Знайте об этом в будущем.
Diana has the correct translations for the tracks on her channel. There is an English-speaking person there who translates everything in the correct context. This is not an automatic translation. Know this in the future.

👉Close your eyes, listen, enjoy… This is pure magic! Diana's voice so soft, mystical, hypnotizing, seductive, melancholic... It transports me to another world. Diana's interpretation of this poem is phenomenal. You can hear exactly how she „sings“ that important hyphen. I want to hear this wonderful melody, these profound words and Diana's velvety voice on an endless loop. ❤❤❤
    Music - Brandon Stone
    Poems - Marina Tsvetaeva
    Arrangement - Brandon Stone
    * The Russian writer Marina Tswetaeva (translated: Flower, *1892 Moscow - †1941 Yelabuga) is one of the most important poets in world literature and was born in Moscow in 1892 into an upper-class, wealthy family.
A carefree youth came to an abrupt end with the death of her mother (1910) and the outbreak of revolution and civil war (1917-1922).
She was unprepared for the world outside. Her assets will be confiscated as “non-work income.”
In 1912 she married Sergei Efron; They had two daughters and later a son. Efron fighted against the Bolschewiki, and Tsvetaeva was separated from him during the Civil War.
Marina Tsvetaeva was a woman with excessive passions, born into a world that had completely lost the measure of humanity. There are many evil depths in Tsvetaeva's life, often stemming from her narcissistically disturbed personality. They don't really fit into the image of the romantic poet, the sensual lines of her poems. Even her most loyal friends were often deeply shocked by her behavior, and fans of her poetry still are today.
Despite all the adverse living conditions, everything she ever wanted to do was write.
During the period of hunger, she gave her daughters to a children's home out of necessity. Her second daughter starved to death there.
In her notes in German (wrote since 1913) Marina Tsvetaeva sketches her hard everyday life full of poverty, hunger, deprivation and worries. At the same time, she thinks about writing and how things begin to shine. “I see everything in my own way.”
With every syllable she felt like she was leaping over space and time. Her romantic principles were the dominance of emotion, the dark and the fateful.
With her language experiments she goes further than many other poets of her time. “The hyphen has an accelerating effect - in a mysterious way.” wrotes Josef Brodsky (1940-1996, Russian-American poet and Nobel Prize winner for literature)
Marina Tsvetaeva was enthusiastic about Germany, but of course during the First World War this was in complete contradiction to the anti-German sentiment in Moscow. However, her love for Germany as her “inner fatherland” has nothing to do with political Germany. The enthusiasm as the land of Goethe and Kant appears often in her work.
She emigrated to Berlin, Prague and Paris in 1922 and found her missing husband again. Tsvetaeva was shunned by the Russian exile community in Paris. She was no longer published after she declared that Mayakovsky was the poet of the future. They were worlds apart but she recognized his originality, his own tone and his radicalism.
In 1939 Tsvetaeva returned to the Soviet Union. But the return home was full of horror. All doors were closed. The wild, backward-looking poet is seen as an obstacle to building socialism.
Her husband was executed and her oldest surviving daughter was sent to a labor camp. When the German army invaded the USSR, Tsvetaeva and her son were evacuated to Yelabuga. That was one stroke of fate too many. Shortly afterwards, on August 31, 1941, she desperately ended her life and hanged herself. Her grave is still unknown today.
Three years later, her son (18) died as a soldier in 1944.
She left behind an extensive body of poetry, lyric dramas and prose works. (www)

    * Brandon Stone (stage name), *1980 in Tbilisi, Georgia. He is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, lyricist and arranger. Brandon is also a professional jazz pianist and a top-notch producer.
His musical life began at the age of 3 with piano lessons. In 1997 he began studying jazz pianism at the music academy 'Hans Eisler' in Berlin/ Germany (he lived there with his parents). After twenty years in Germany and a few years in the USA, he now lives in Russia with his wife and two children.
Brandon Stone prefers an interesting mix of styles both as a composer and as a singer (jazz/soul/pop). His melodic songs as well as high technique, emotional intensity and honesty of performance, his wonderful voice (3.5 octaves) and charm helped Brandon Stone to become popular in many European countries, America and Commonwealth of Independent States. He sings in Russian, English, German, Spanish, French, Hebrew and Georgian.
Stones song “Magic Cristmas” became the #1 Christmas hit in Spain in 2002 (age 22): ruclips.net/video/_tXBw-oPmqM/видео.html and even overtook the song Robbie Williams.
In 2005, Igor Krutoy personally asked Stone to compose and produce for the New Wave. He did it from 2005-2010.
Stone has already composed ca. 800 songs and sold around 2,000,000 records, mostly as a composer or lyricist, mainly in the former CIS countries. In Georgia (Europe) he is revered as a singer and artist, as a folk hero.
Stone has received many important national and international awards and prizes. In 2018-2020 he was nominated for the Victoria Prize (Similar to the Grammy. Dimash and Krutoy won the 2019 Victoria Prize).
Since 2019, Brandon Stone has worked extensively with Diana. Diana's first CD of songs composed and produced by Stone, released Dec 2021, was certified Gold in June 2022. (www)

As far as I understand, this song did not exist before. Diana decided to sing the poems of another woman, Marina Tsvetaeva - a very gifted poet with a tragic fate, whose talent most likely was not fully revealed (she lived during a very difficult period in Russian history). These poems have a lot of context and embedded meaning, they are very emotionally charged and difficult to perform even without singing. But, as I repeat from time to time, Diana can sing anything: both the Mahabharata epic and a telephone directory. And it will be magnificent.

She wanders sleepless nights through the night city. Flowers in her hand. Everything is familiar: the black poplar, the lantern and shadows, the light in her beloved's window. But she is at odds with her beloved, she is at odds with her husband. She is neither at home nor with her beloved. She is nowhere. They only dream of her. They only dream of her in their sleep.

Interpretation of Diana and Brandon’s song “In a Huge City”: The great Russian poetess Marina Tsvetaeva gave birth (not “wrote”!) poems with a quality of meaning inseparable from the sound of her words in Russian. It is IMPOSSIBLE to understand the meaning of these poems, or rather, these sounds without perceiving their Russian sound (try translating Kipling, or Byron, or Shakespeare into Russian, and then back into English! Try it!). This is exactly what Diana and Brandon are doing in this song - the correspondence of meaning and sounds. This cannot be explained in words: how to add up the sum of meanings and the sound of speech??!! This can only be heard by the soul. To hear, repeated many times, a combination of melody, words and sounds of instruments, the main one of which is Diana’s voice - the most complex of them all. Hence the advice - reproduce in yourself the images given by Marina (night, wind, black poplar, light from the window, ringing from the tower, “And this is the shadow, but not me”, “Friends, understand that you are dreaming of me”) ...and listen, listen, listen to the voice(s) of Diana singing this... And you will enter the door of This universe - through the beauty paved by Diana and Brandon.
This song is about insomnia and loneliness.
