  • Finally uploading this special one from five months ago when we were in Niue. I've always wanted to film something on the homeland and isn't it just so beautiful! If I lived in Niue I would film all the time! A big fakaaue to my partner's family in Utuko, Mala for helping with my foufou, Numa for plaiting my hair, Losana for the hihi and my amazing partner Taga for everything else in between, especially for taking me around to do the one thing I've always wanted to do in Niue. Fakaaue to tau fulufuluola fifine Niue of Tamakautoga (TMK for life lol) Lai, Leneh & Vana, not only are they beautiful performers but they also learnt the koli only the night before and came ready the next day, honestly was so nice to meet them all and to watch and dance with them, hopefully we can do it again one day!
So glad I got to perform this one in the villages of my grandparents, Iaesa Ikifetoko Bloomfield & Matangi Bloomfield (Tonga) - Ululauta Matahefonua Mutalau and Vasi Taie Makani & Sionemaleko Makani - Togulu Tamakautoga. A proud fifine Niue doing what she loves.
Side note: Will wear a more airy, lighter and open costume next time because I was sweating so much and so was my videographer lol - but it was worth it.

and how Usher handed over this innocent young boy to Diddy. The Part where Justin gets a car from Diddy and how Justin will be in Diddy's care for 2 weeks without any interruptions from No One, then Diddy says that they will half a butt full of fun???....... Justin was So Young and innocent and So Happy .... heart breaking watching that

Fakaaue for your suggestion☺️. For this dance cover I decided not to do those things because the essence of our koli lies within the simplicity of our actions and actions that are familiar to Niue. When you add in other elements it starts to look Cook Island and what I want to show is that in any way shape or form this performance is recognised as Niue and cannot be mistaken for anything else with clapping actions, flower hand movements that are unique to how we dance🌸Please watch other dance covers on my RUclips page that have and feature the suggestions you have given, we have used them there within the cultural parameters of what feels and looks Niue😊 - lastly our culture is traditionally sitting, so standing and dancing is more seen today than what our culture was before (around my parents time) and that’s why again simple is always best when done right because really all our dances should be sitting how it should be, however I’ve adapted with the contemporary style of also standing here in the video👍🏾
