This just shows on how complex the heart is. I'm having an echo done on Friday, mostly as a preventative measure as there is a family history of heart problems, and I have had some issues with my heart rate going really high on runs, and seeing this is actually kind of comforting that heart stuff may or may not necessarily be "my fault" per se.
Just in case you still happen to be curious 1 year later, this is in fact 2D echocardiography. You can imagine that the ultrasound beam is going through the patient as a paper wedge. This produces an image of layers showing you everything that beam encounters. This produces a 2D image since you are only seeing a slice of the heart. 3D echocardiography would produce a 3D image with depth.
They provide free education, in most places this would cost thousands of dollars. Not even a thank you for your time and effort before complaining about literally nothing. They aren't doing a procedure, it is a standardized patient.

What happened to PLAX RVOT?
Good explanation..but lacks illustrations and labels . And poor sound . Opportunity to make it perfect
Wish you could've captured the screen itself while performing, just to better see what's being done. (I'm not clinical, just interested)
