Hi, when I make any performance, I just sort of go into a controlled musical trance, where I just let what happens happen. Yet, I am always trying for new melodies, and I listen for build-ups so that, when the time is right, I can fill them in. My live listening causes me to change some things while I play, and that awareness also causes me to remember other songs that I have played. I memorize all of my songs so that I know where I want to take the music when the next performance happens. Thank you for this question! I am very glad that you take an interest in it all!
Love this one! I've come to find that the drum pattern you select has a lot to do with how much I like each song.
Absolutely, that's exactly it! New musical melodies happen as responses to different rhythms. We both see how this works!
