I always thought of those Bohrok shield pieces as decorations that Pohatu may have added on himself, mainly because of their awkward position and their inconsistent aesthetic. IDK, just a thought.

Got this set for $20 at a garage sale waaaaaay long time ago. Came in original box and had everything.

I reckon T3-Pohatu's upper arms should've been the short connector pieces, so that his arms would overall be shorter than his legs, giving him more humanoid proportions.
BIONICLE characters don't need to have more humanoid proportions, I guess, but he had short upper arms on his original Phantoka build, so...

I was messing with one of these fairly recently, and I've come to the conclusion that there are rubber bands, but they aren't technically that important. They're just to keep things from sliding from one position to the other without you triggering them
the handlebars should be made with longer axles and stoppers so they wouldn't be accidentally pushed in when mounting pohatu, but with the fins pohatu sort of looks like his nuva mask which is nice
Back when I was a stupid little kid, I didn't build this right and had to take it apart only to rebuild it. Then I slowly dismantled it, and last year I decided to rebuild it again, from scratch and using as many original parts as possible while adding aesthetic differences to make it look made from spare parts.
Needless to say, that sucker is back in business. Won't be taking it apart for a long while.

Got this set for easter 08. Immediately disregarded instructions and started messing with my new pieces. I took the visor and made cut outs on nuparus mahri mask. The fins sticking out compliment the mask
Just received a MISB Rockoh for around the original retail price. Can't wait to build it!

This was my first of the vehicles, but I had a friend back then who had the other two from this year.
The T-Series of vehicles! Oh here we go! Pretty cool set and Pohatu finally has hands!
Now that is a major update and better design right there. Rockoh T3 Functions well and
is a sleek vehicle. A good start to the T-series overall for BIONICLE.
Quaint is... Interesting terminology for a Bionicle set.
I got the axalara as a kid and I loved it wish I still had it but honestly, I wanted this set the most out of the vehicles because one: pohatu is my favorite toa nueva and two: before I got the axalara I honestly thought this was the only vehicle I could build.
I did a big lego haul of nearly every bionicle set (not including kardas dragon) and every hero factory set and built abunch of moCs but what i had left was nearly all the pieces to build the rockoh t3 only

This is my favorite Bionicle vehicle. I think it was the most complex Lego vehicle I've ever built.
I honestly wouldn't mind if they did the exact same Pohatu figure with recolors (and proper arms of course)

Since the ignition series matoran/toa were supposed to be part of karda nui , they would have gotten the aerodynamic visors

It was new, with an opened box, but the bag with Pohatu wasn't included. It was super cheap though

Is it true that this set & the Axalara introduced the Trans Pink Eye Stalk? Bricklink.com says so but no reviewers point it out. Was hoping they were real & not fake.

i honestly think the rockoh looks like a rickety old car and the axalara looks like a sports car
I wouldn't be surprised is the reason 08 sucked in so many places was because they blew their budget designing these vehicles
