The Lemonade Project

Larnaka Airport is home to more than 120 lemon trees planted around the terminal. Last February, Hermes staff, with the help of the other members of the airport community, gathered three tons of lemons from the airport’s lemon trees for the first time ever. The lemons were processed in the factory of KEAN, the biggest citrus fruit producer in Cyprus, processing about 18000 tons of Cypriot citrus fruit.
One thousand seven hundred liters of lemonade squash were produced, and we are offering this homemade lemonade to you! With every euro you spend, you help us build a greener future.
