Good overview. But why use airline flights as an example to explain FHIR? I would use a John Doe’ health record as an example. Load John Doe’s health data with all kinds of issues, blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol etc. then show how FHIR could help enrich his basic personal data as the data is pulled from each lab, one at a time, so that a from a single UI the doctor gets a complete Birds Eye view of what is happening with John Doe, and makes detail notes that John Doe can also see, along with all his own records, from the UI. This is how FHIR should be explained. Watch my video which will be released soon.
