This song is called Arirang. It’s a Korean folk song and is over 600 years old. It is sung in Nothh and South Korea. I know because my korean mother played it 55 years ago when I was a child in Kansas. I think it sounds beautiful.

I think that it is unfair to judge this film on the acting and the visual effects because frankly, they were good. It was the story that made it somewhat cheesy. The actors worked well within the script (except for the lead girl. I didn't like her). The reincarnated monk is a good actor, he even appears in Heroes! And the visual effects, while not perfect, were absolutely stunning.
@nelson466 ...actually the dragons of Korean mythology looks very much like the dragons of both Chinese and Japanese folklore. Something all 3 cultures share in common....like the fear of the numeral "4".
the movie is okay i enjoyed it for what it was but for me its a guilty pleasure thing true the story to the movie is cheesy and stupid and the actings not great but the soundtrack is excellent and visuals are pretty good plus id rather watch a bad movie i enjoy than a bad movie i loth like twilight, the happening and the last airbender
