    I wonder if they asked if the kids have their own unspoken safety rules.... It might not look like knee pads and policing the rules, but they might have something to teach you about navigating neighborhoods, how to take up space, and how to have tight community.

    Have no idea how I got here, but my mom used to yell at us as kids when we did wheelie’s or ride without holding the steering bar. But I’m from the Netherlands where everybody rides bikes, regardless. Great to see other places starting this biking culture, it’s just the most fun, free and healthy way to get around. 👍

      Wow, my Parents encouraged us to do wheelies , jump homemade ramps, they even built us a makeshift trail on our property.

    Donald should not have an adult discussion in front of kids. We need to stick together and show a united front. Wow, he sided with kids against another black leader. Immature . What a beautiful event !

      He is not an adult himself, but for in age. The man came off like a thug embarrassing himself, and any of those youth that had a little common sense. It was suppose to be a positive ride that went wrong, because of their *leader* not actually being one when needed. I wonder if the parents of teens seen his actions, and felt anything positive about what he did, or realized he is not a person anyone should have as a guidance in life.

    Simple if they were asked to not wheelie as that is a rule for safety if not them the people around them and they refused to stop them clearly they are jerks.
    The adult leader for them is unbelievably immature *literally on their level* in not explaining to his group *literally the obvious* *which was asked of them simple respect for others* And them he further embarrasses himself showing how immature in voicing to the actual adults who had to have been rolling their eyes externally and internally to his cry for respect to I behaved teens *under his suppose care* They need an actual man or woman to lead them in behaving in general *which should be obvious to all, but some need guidance in being respectful to their fellow human* In actuality they don’t as they know immediately what being disrespected is when done to them, so you know what sort of people they are with ahem *leader like him* bad things will happen to them that ought not to.

    Don't make something add another and cause eject the people the feel awkward If you really want to put forth an effort story start an organization that would help reach the children's and in inner cities that can't afford these bikes the find ways to get them a bike that they can use to go to work to have fun with Hopefully no one steals it from said person in are able to enjoy it everyday Because that's That would be a good start instead of making it out of some racial divide because that is gonna have some Issues with it keep following the narrative or pushing color to a Sport that most of you back in the day looks down upon So I don't know where you're getting the Cycling is only for White people that's not what is meant for and it's Nonsense Start an organization and outreach program that would help inner city kids develop the means and know how fixs A problem when it Happens, No you are the 2nd one that is using your color as a victum not location of some sort, And it's really not necessary really isn't....

    I never heard this nonsense before a people that would deny somebody of color to participate it just doesn't make sense. Why you feel that way maybe you should have gotten out more and see and really see how cycling really is but many people don't have money for bikes In certain areas but nobody stopping anyone from joining riding for Sport and a leisure, It's because you're like doesn't mean you're being denied because of You're color that is nonsense you have to want to go out and pride because you want to not to make a statement because writing is what it is a bout not a statement and sorry you feel that way about what You're out take on cycling is which is not true why any Stretch Of magination All you have to do is just get your leg over a bike that It. This whole color thing is a whole bunch of extra stuff that is that makes you feel good you want to believe that that you feel like you want to be a trend setter and you have to use your color to make a statement instead of but the bike is actually meant for, You're taking something I can't believe it's actually been mentioned as a statement instead of a value of it really means to ride a bikeBut again many people might not have the money to do so so that might be another reason why black people are not riding Bikes but nobody stopping them or anyone from doing that or Being placed in a group separation I think shouldn't be the montra because that's not what cycling stands for, Means just going out and Enjoying the day You wanna use separation I get your point across good luck it's only going to backfire Hand because is many people in a way that are riding bikes they ride it for the very same reason anyone else word To have fun and enjoy the ride,, I hope you read this and understand. Not taking a shot just making sure you understand you're not turning this into something that it Isn't. And I'm pretty sure no One is going to deny somebody of color to ride a bike with them In a group ride.. Because it my father you better isn't that many people of color out there is probably because they can't afford the gear them or the bike Not everybody has money which is unfortunate these bikes are not cheap by any means. I will love to see somebody out there of color that isn't using their color as a statement but enjoy bike riding just the same as everyone else. I do think putting color into something that isn't Biased In-and-out to be something it isn't is it your call to make.. Or anyone else Don't add separation into this it's only going to make it worse because people are gonna have that stereotypical mind and are gonna go with that mindset all they don't wanna ride with me because I'm black or Chinese or Spanish or others that's not what this is about and I can't believe the people that are there are not saying anything to make you understand that Riding bikes is not meant for any type of race baiting or separating not what it's about it's about the ride. I myself am a mountain biker There are so many different ethnic looks out there on the trails I may be A few blacks here and there but again most people have afford a decent bike that's part of the problem not part of the solution not separation of because of the skin color is black so approaching what you use cars go for I don't think anybody in the city to have that I had the right lane if going to have money lying around to go and buy a bike of that caliber This wish people would stop with that mindset thinking because you're a different color again you shouldn't be out there that's how you feel you shouldn't put then upon everybody else And if you wanna go for a ride ride with friends or family members You know it's not about what color you are.... It never was and never will be just hope you understand Be safe out there watch those knuckleheads that are driving those cars.

      @williamvangorden44 4 года назад

      @@KimKimJun We don't need this division in cycling. I have never heard anyone deny anyone of color to get on a bike and ride that is nonsense. And lot of people that I've seen so far that are color always seem to make it out to be something it isn't, Why not just go out and ride that's what it's meant for and nothing extra and when use color for sympathy people look at you like you have 2 heads because it's unheard of anyone Being denied to ride because of what color they are I'm just saying people make and way too much out of this for no real reason other than to Stir the pot , It's a bike for Christ Sake. Just like basketball it's a basketball. When somebody comes out and says O is primarily this race that dominant in this field is because people enjoy riding bikes and nothing else Meaning no racial divide. And what is ignorant about trying to make sense of something that obviously is nonsensical meaning just put your leg over a bike and ride That's it it doesn't care what color you are it doesn't care how tall you are or short it doesn't What language you speak it doesn't care for somebody do plainly sit there and say their color is the reason why they're not out there racing or their color is the problem why they can learn how to ride with them, It is not trivial and it's not up for interpretation or manipulation or propaganda, Everybody that starts is always gone to feel different than everyone that is writing I don't care what color you are that happens everywhere. But because you're A different color Then give you the Incentive to make something out of nothing you don't get that right, It's like being last in line and complaining about it that's what it seems like Get your Over a bike and ride it is that simple. Will you people out there that will help You have to find out just like everybody else found those that help them There is no easy Button, You go out there and ride because you want to not because a propaganda or some stupid narrative, That would create a divide by the way, You get out there because you want And not because others are using a narrative that is really nonsensical It's a bike.

      @@williamvangorden44 unless you are a Black woman, you have no idea what Black women have been through in this world. You are in no position to tell Black women what their life experiences are. Just because you've never heard about discrimination in the cycling world, doesn't mean it isn't happening. Just because YOU don't see something..doesn't mean its not there. If you are a non Black person, of course you wouldn't have experience with this kind of thing...because you're not Black. There is virtually no representation of Black women in this sport. This organization is trying to change that. Stop trying to tell people what to do. Who are you anyway? You sound very entitled. It costs you nothing to just leave them alone. I celebrate these awesome women! If you can't, then move on with your life. Smh.

      @@malikastone I don't care who you are, That's the point about cycling, But the point I am trying to make is that it doesn't matter the bike itself doesn't matter who rides it are you getting it what I'm saying, And your video yes I do take offense to where people feel of put and there have a chip on their shoulder thinking that because you're a certain color everybody has to appeal to this nobody has to do anything because you're black it's nonsense if you're going to create an organization to get people out there on a bites great then do that but not many people can afford those bikes, And that isn't a racial thing, And people that are out there that are writing yeah I can agree somewhere them got a stick up their a**, But it's not because a your color that's just who they are, And for you to be a black woman how they're Road biking that is awesome but what does your color have to do or any color whatsoever has to do with you riding a bike why can a be just a woman riding a bike because you're putting a color in place its influence is going to take another direction that you might not like in your going to get Kick back in it people have every right to feel like that there's nobody out there saying you can that there's a white cyclist woman white girls do bikes think about that Organization that you're allying yourself with that has to do with inner city people that are black at great but it's not a weight or black thing just so you know and don't create a false narrative with it it's a book one good thing that we have right now that isn't destructive people make think O the that take pity on you shouldn't take pity on anybody because then I don't know who is real and who isn't, Because right now you got these ankle biters out there that are willing to say all these people are racist win races or that nonsense doesn't exist you are entering a competitive sport just like everyone else does because your skin color doesn't match theirs doesn't mean that you can't ride a bike and that should be something you should be teaching those kids that you're going to influence If you don't do that then you're going to cause a narrative that is going to backfire and nobody's gonna wanna ride with you because of that antics that come with it, It's a peaceful sport and I watched a video in the only thing that I've got to say is that if you're going to align yourself with people that feel different we about riding a bike and blame in because its majority way that doesn't have anything to do with the price of oil 1st of now you're going with a narrative and you think you're doing something great but somebody else intervenes and then it ends up turning into a big fiasco for no reason what I'm saying is if you're going to teach or have anybody to that follows you that you! you! Need to make that clear that this has nothing to do with color no narrative no agenda just getting people off their phones getting people off their asses and ride, But the video again did incite some type of agenda and I just wanted to make sure that you understand that by doing that and that manner it's going to cause people not to want to be around you if you're only going to have just black people riding with With you and only black people then it becomes a narrative why don't just enjoy the sport for what it is.. Because you're creating something with that video that you had made you need to look it over and understand it from a biased point of view It Shouldn't be based on one side, Black or white And again you also have RUclips if you get yourself In a pinch with your bike. And I'm not telling you what you should do but I'm just a your going to create a problem that is not needed and keeping and a narrative like that going is pretty dam stupid if you ask me. You might take it as an insult You might just Want to watch your video over again. Why not have somebody that is curious about the sport ask you and stead of influence and them in other ways that they have to do it and they have the act a certain way they have to be this way, Quite Clearly you're not pointing out the people to stay away from is not everybody is the same when it comes to cycling. And just remember that when you make a video saying all its majority white so one that's because people in your neighborhood would make fun of other people just like you because they see it as a joke I can't help your people to see what you see only you can do That And it is peaceful and it needs to stay that way if somebody as you show them. And you think that people that you private cake came across you probably think they're all like that, And that is not necessarily the case, Like I said before You have some people that are just straight up asses, And maybe that's who you're going to. But they don't make the majority. Does you add people that are like you are doing the same ignorant thing and keep in a narrative going when nation be a narrative to begin with and to be quite Frank with you there isn't any In cycling.

    I never understand the tribalism that black community has. If you don't see a blk person you can't relate. That theory in itself is idiotic. We are humans first. Y'all aren't shut off from cycling. Perspective and perception is two different things.
