I tried with 4N35 and connected to AC with 330K Resister in between and given 5v on other side to check the AC main detectation but didn't work.
i want to build AC mains detector so I can check on microcontroller

Pin out on your PC817 is wrong. This is 4 PIN device. SCR = Silicon Controlled RECTIFIER! (not resistor) I gave up at 8min as it seemed I already knew more about this subject than the material presented in this video. Sorry...
