I just bought a 2020 gc 1725m TLB and during the time I watched your videos until it was delivered , had to go back for some minor hyro issues but my dealer is great and on top off it !! Very pleased with my purchase !!
CONGRATS!! on the new Massey!! I'm glad your dealer is taking care of you!! Thank you for watching and the comment! I really appreciate you letting me know!! Have lots of fun with your tractor!!
Hello from Canada. We are planning to buy a tractor. My husband and I really enjoy your channel, and seeing your tractor at work. You're a master backhoe operator! Wow!
Thank you Peace & Joy, for watching and the very kind comment! I really appreciate it! CONGRATS! On the tractor!! Please let me know what y'all get!! I'm glad y'all enjoy the videos and thank you for letting me know!! I do need to say, I'm no master operator. I was bless to get to work around some masters but I'm a weekend warrior at best!! lol Thank you again and have a good one!!
Great little machines. Ive had my little Massey for 8 years now with no problems. Replaced a throttle cable years ago because it would freeze and put a new fan belt on it this past summer for the hell of it. That's it. Still have the original belt on the mower. Loved it so much I went and bought the bigger 1734e with the backhoe on it. Love that one more. Haha. I guess I need a cab tractor now, maybe the 1749 Premium. :-) That machine will treat you well.
Yep, you've got that down pretty good. Fun to operate and the more you use it, the easier it gets. Good work. At one time you were concerned about the BH. It looked as though everything was working fine. Good video and thanks for sharing.
thank you very much. I wasn't sure if it was me are the BH but the more I work with it the more I'm getting the hang of it. louisianaaquaponics@gmail.com email me if you haven't got a video editing software I got something you will want especially if you liked the video and its free
Extending the bucket like that with the cutting edge down and pushing material forward is a concern. You gotta be careful doing that because with the cylinders extended out that far they are at their weaker point strength wise and if you hit something solid it could bend the rams. Bucket flat pushing forward or backwards is stronger. Obviously you can do it your way carefully and slow but always be watching for sudden solid object you could hit. I'd like to see another stump video on a larger stump that really takes some work to get out. Thanks for the video sir.
Thanks LH, for watching and the comment! You are correct about the cylinders. I have other videos digging out bigger stumps. Have a good one and thanks again!!
As long as you have a loader bucket that has a heel you should use that for back dragging. Keep the bottom of the bucket flat when you back drag, it'll make it look a lot nicer and flatter. And the heel of the bucket will spread that material smoother and more even.
Thank you Kerry, for watching and the comment!! Very good tip! Thank you! I will give it a shot the first chance I get! Have a good one and thanks again!!
Thank you AgnusDei, for watching and the comment! It is a bit of a pain turning the seat around. That's why I move it the way I do! Congrats!! on the new Massey! Have a good one! See ya in the next one!
@@LouisianaTractorworks I'm watching all of your videos. I like to watch how you operate the equipment and I learn techniques from the work that you do. Watching you teach your son was like a personal lesson on how to use the backhoe to get the most out of each dig. I wish there was a lever to move the tractor forward while sitting facing the backhoe. I guess that "wouldn't be safe." But having to hold the seat down with one hand and steer with the other will have to do! 😂 Have you done a video on using the Massey float feature on the loader and backhoe? I'm trying to learn that now. Thank you!!
@@DKJHamp I haven't done a specific video on the float but every time I'm back dragging it's in float unless it mud or wet dirt that I'm working with. I don't use the float on the BH to much. The bucket is to small to push dirt with it. I do use it on the TYM some. To move the tractor forward or backward a little bit while working the backhoe. I use the backhoe to move the tractor.
you did an excellent job removing that stump. you ran the machine just inside its limitations and never stressed it that I seen even once. that Massey is a beast of a machine and the BH is plenty strong! I do bet you wish it had two seats though. I know when I got my kubota it had two seats and I did not think I would like it. well I can tell you I love having two seats! I really enjoyed the video.
thanks for the compliment on the video and yes a two seat set up would be nice. the massey seems to be able to do the work. the real hard an long term work is just beginning. can't wait to see the over all out come.
CONGRATULATION!!! I bet it is super nice!! lol SO! the fun has already begun!! I think you will LOVE! it! You will find all kinds of thing to do now! Just so you can be on it!!! LOL Have a good one Tim and I do hope to see you and that new Massey!
@@LouisianaTractorworks Well thanks. Just got in from loading some oak firewood cut 20 inch by 40. I stood the ones that fell with the bucket and loaded my trailer. Absolutely crazy the time it saved me. My customer was worried they might not be able to mow this week. One more day and I'll have it all home. I'm not a salesman. Lol. It just saved me a bunch of time. I have a couple of jobs lined up already. I financed it. Just those 2 b.s. jobs are gonna make my month. Thumb.... Just started on one.
HaHaHa! You got it going your way for sure! They do make a big difference and save a lot of time! In a couple of months you are going to think. Why didn't I buy one sooner!! LOL Best of luck with the work!
Thank you Terry for the comment! I can tell you what I know and that isn't much. lol From my understanding is the 2720 is a bit stronger and faster then the CB65. I don't know if that is a fact because I've never worked one to see if it does better then the 65. I do know it's a bit smaller as in the dipper and boom. Have a good week Terry! See ya in the next one!
I love my Massey! The new ones have more upgrade then the one I have so I think they are even a better deal! I would buy it again without hesitation, for what you get for the money. Here's a link of a video I did and it kinda give a general overview! ruclips.net/video/6nAQmpyXsqE/видео.html
About how long did it take for you to remove that stump? I just got a 1710 to remove lots of stumps in my yard. I needed it for other things as well but stump removal is a big reason I got it.
Thanks Binah Everlasting, I don't remember how long it took me in that video. I wiil say the more I worked it the faster I got. the last stump I dug up only took me a few minutes I think six are so and it was just a little smaller then that one. Thanks for watching and commenting. Congrats on the new 1710. Hope to see some videos of you and your new tractor.
Hey Kenny, no it don't but here's a video on how to adjust the pedals on a GC. ruclips.net/video/YFRsfciIlcI/видео.html Also check your fluid levels. I hope this helps! Have a good one!
I wasted no time putting it to work I got 39 hours on it already. I don't think Nate heading for my area of Louisiana but if it does we'll be fine not the first one we rode out.
I could see the joy on you face when working with the tractor. Job well done. Going through the other videos now and enjoying them.
Lol. Love working tractors. The Massey is a very impressive tractor for it's size. Thank you Jeff! Have a good week! See ya in the next one!
Having a backhoe is priceless 👍

Sure will. I'm about to wrap up a video and would like to see what editing tools are out there.
Bring it up north. I have a lot of stumps to dig up :) really nice Louisiana full play including ads
If you have a lot of stumps to remove then you need to see my newest video! lol Thanks! Have a good one!
