story (fictional) :
maddie and kendall are sisters. kendall is the younger one, and maddie the older. kendall is the golden child, and maddie is left out all the time. for example, kendall could get a f in a test, and maddie an a, but kendall would get rewarded, and maddie would get yelled at. maddie was always told she wasn’t good enough, and was always being compared to kendall. this caused maddie to rebel, skip school, stay out all night, stuff like that. as soon as maddie turns 18, she moves out of the house and across the country. she cuts off all contact with her family, including kendall, who was at college. kendall spends all of her time looking for maddie, to find her, because she needed her sister. and eventually she found her, kendall flew across the country to find maddie. i used the song, my blood because i think it’s kind of a song about new beginnings, which is what maddie was trying to do. the dance, run baby run, is supposed to be kendall and maddie’s final goodbye. so back to the story, kendall gets to maddie’s house and they argue, maddie wants a fresh start and wants kendall to leave. then this is where the dance takes place. then, the ending is a huge argument, where kendall finally leaves, devastated, and maddie watching her go.
