He's got a wonderful/dreamy tone and amazing, distinct voice w/ expressive emotions, which I can't seem to find these days, Lol. Showcased his great talent w differ genres, loved it! Well deserved! Oh and Nick A Father's Lullaby album is the best lullaby out there I've heard, cause of his voice and he helps lullaby my kids to sleep fast and it's very relaxing so we listen to it every night. 🥰😘
His voice is so distinct. 98 degrees were super talented. The whole manufactured boy band gave them a bad name. Nick would have made it solo but he just didn't get a fair chance. I'm glad a boy band member won coz boy bands are gods to us 90s kids. Sad that they get a bad rap.
Just my humble opinion.... With the right songs, Nick could have a rebirth as an artist.... But instead of rushing off to do huge tours, he should do smaller venues with fewer dates. Keep the demand for his music strong. Being the record company, I'd bring in David Foster, Diane Warren, etc. to give him the right songs and I'd find him select duets

Piglet is my season 5 favourite, because he singing many different genres, he was so good, and he doing a very great job on the show as he won the season 5. I'm so happy that he won it.

When I was younger I did not like how much he affected his voice. I have always preferred when people sing and they are not pushing so hard. I grew up and became a preschool teacher and I learned that a good nap time CD is in heavy rotation at pretty much every preschool. Well I heard the album Father's Lullaby and I LOVED how much the beauty of his natural timbre and tone were able to shine through. Since then I have really appreciated his voice.

Ken is the worst at guessing. He kept guessing Nick Lachey previous season at Nick Carter's voice. How in the world do either voices have an inkling of semblance??
He does it because that’s what most people know him best for. He and Jessica made the unlucky choice to stand out from the boy band/girl crowd by being the “cutest couple,” so when they broke up, it was like dissolving a business partnership too - like if Penn and Teller stopped working together. But I think he’s done a good job of redefining his career as a solo artist, and as a reality host with his wife Vanessa.

I agree. I'm from Cincinnati and have always been a huge fan. Huge talent as a group and solo. I wish he would release more solo albums.
