Really enjoyed these reviews John. Ice Station Zebra sounds great! You are very well read, and more people need to check out your channel!

Thank you, I appreciate that. It would be great if more people watched, but I try not to get caught up in the numbers or I'd probably get stage fright again. Ice Station Zebra is definitely one of MacLean's better novels, the scenes that take place in the submarine are pretty tense

Ice Station Zebea sounds really good. I saw the movie a long time ago, I don't really remember it that well, but I definitely want to read the book!

@@ericksbookshelf I've never seen the movie but I bet I'd like it because both Ernest Borgnine and Patrick McGoohan are in it. I remember reading somewhere that Howard Hughes would call up a tv station he owned and force them to play Ice Station Zebra night after night because it was his favorite movie. The book is good too, it's has just the right amount of tension without being unbelievable, or I thought so, anyway

Do you like the Beat poets? I've read some of their stuff, but I've never been able to get into it
