+Richard Grave Your spot on Richard and would of saved a few pennies and a load of time. It was at the customers request that the timbers went in on this one. His done a few years being a laborer / handyman and that's how he saw it done and insisted on us doing the same. But ye if we simply laid the insulation down and then glued together our tongue and groove flooring that would of given us the same result.

Did you need to put joists in ? With the floor being level couldn't you just float the floor on insulation?
