Hi CagerOnTwoWheels, i´ve seen your videos many times. After some Videos, Í´ve bought the Kawasaki, you´ve tested. First bike was the Kawasaki Z1000SX, two years later the Kawasaki Versys 1000 and now, yesterday the new Kawasaki Z900. I like your videos. Your videos are very informative, but also very emotional. A very good mix. I'm looking forward to future Kawasaki videos
Love that intake roar, it’s been caught really nicely on here. Purchased a 2020 model a couple of days ago and love it... raining today so I’m watching reviews haha
Cager, thanks for the great review. Where I live in the US nobody was giving demo rides on the z900. So after watching your review several times as well as RUclipsr "Schaaf", I made the purchase a few days ago. You were spot on. I could not be happier with the z900.
Great review Cager! You're so lucky to live in Portugal, I'm really looking forward to test ride this Z900, but the weather in Paris during the last weekends was awful. I had to cancel the test ride twice...
I bought the Z900 and my only complaint is I NEED a loud exhaust lol. I owned a Z800 for 3 years then upgraded to a Z1000, after a month on the Z1000 the Z900 came out and I did a great deal and swapped the Z1000 for the Z900... trust me when I say this bike is quick enough and it handles like a dream.. but in the UK im still waiting for tail tidy and some exhausts because im not buying the Akropovic for 500 quid for it when there are better ones coming out lol. anyway if your interested in this bike, its worth every penny and Cager has reviewed this bike accurately :)
I like your honest review, especially being from someone growing into bigger bikes. I saw the Z900 recently at a Kawasaki dealership and I can't get it out of my head. I'm still beginning to enjoy my '`10 ER6n, but I know that within the next year I'll want to upgrade to something more refined - away from the buzzy parallel twin. I'm sold; Thanks.
Great review as always, sure got me thinking about one of these. Still leaning towards the GSXs1000 but yeah the choice is finally getting narrowed. I wanted to add that I have never been to Portugal as of yet but worked in Angola for 10 years and to be honest except the dirt laying everywhere the architecture looks exactly the same which is obviously not surprising. Anyway, thank you brother 🙏
Finally, a bike you fell in love with! I love a high revving inline 4cylinder. You keep getting more and more power, the push keeps getting more up to redline. So intoxicating. Not as easy to get the power out as some of the new 3 cylinders, but dam I love my little inline 4 cylinder FZ8.
I just rode a Z900 yesterday and my reactions were basically like this, but to an extreme because I had only been riding a 250 before I hopped on the 900. It's such a fun bike and you're right, it's not intimidating. I hopped right on and after it punched me around a bit for not using the clutch, I was puttering around fine and cashing in on that delicious power it has to offer.
That looks sooo nice, you are lucky to get test rides on bikes like these, enjoy it, or I'm sure you did. Keep em coming, time to get back to watching :)
Proud Z900 owner. This is the bike for Active road driving. The MT09 is for those who want a hybrid between a supermotard and a ordinary naked bike. The riding position and they way it feels dont inspire fast road driving at all.
@CagerOnTwoWheels: Upon watching this video, I noticed you were making a number of mistakes when riding. You took a few risky moves and you were not looking in the right direction. I followed this video with a google search to see if you had an accident. It seems my warning is too late. Please look into taking an advanced rider training course. Quality video logging on a motorcycle is not easy I am sure. Please be careful though. Best of luck with your injuries. Safe riding to you.
Just picked up the Z650 a month ago. Love the feel as a shorter rider. Plenty of torque and decent handling. The style of these new Kawasaki's is great! I've done a few ride along/owner review videos, plus some mod videos on what little is available at this time. Keep up the reviews!
HI Cager my friend.I been ill so I haven't been on youtube for some time.I'm well now and back.I'm thinking bout buying a Kawasaki Z900.So this is great your testing the bike.I trust what you say.If you don't like it.I don't like it.I like it and you like it.
Will you be reviewing the Ninja 650 next? In the UK i'm going to be getting my A2 licence and the 650 is what i would like, because your reviews are informative.
PhoniiczZ did you look at other bikes in advance? Because there are some A2 legal bikes that are much nicer than the Ninja 650, at least in my opinion. E.g. Yamaha MT-07, Aprilia Dorsoduro/Shiver 750, Honda CB/CBR 650 F or supermotos in general. If you need any advice, ask away. I'll happily provide some answers ;)
I've had a long look at A2 bikes and i know there's a lot of good A2's out there that i would definitely enjoy (mostly because i just want something more than a 125). I've always wanted a Kawasaki, I love their style and they put a lot more effort cosmetically into the 650 than the Er6f, which looks bug eyed to me. I noticed there isn't very many sporty looking A2's and I want my next bike to be a bike where i'm happy with its looks, now im a more experienced rider and i feel will less likely come off it and damage cosmetics etc. A big problem i have with the 650 is its 180 degree crankshaft, it doesn't sound beefy like a V-Twin, let alone MT's 270 degree crank, but then im thinking anything sounds better than a single 125cc, so i cant complain. I've seen the CBR500r, but i don't want another Honda (nothing against them i just want a change). Sv650s a little tempting, nice styling, V-Twin grumble, can be brought reasonably cheap. But i see them all the time in London. XJ6 Diversion would be my second choice if it came to money problems, Inline 4, faired and i would get it second hand. GSX650F i've been told is a boring a bad bike. If i would end up getting a naked it's between XJ6 and the Z800e Just asked CagerOnTwoWheels if he did go on the 650 because i like him and his reviews. Thanks for the help and i appreciate the heads up Tim Schwarze, but i've done alot of research myself to get the best bike for me, only time will tell.
PhoniiczZ love your empathy! It's great to see someone actually doing a lot of research before getting a bike. I did so myself and ended up with the Dorsoduro 750, as I have been riding a V2 125 (Honda Varadero) for the past two years and wanted to step up my V2 game a bit ;) The sound is just brutal and an inline 2 is nothing in comparison, except for the CP3 engine from Yamaha's MT-07. But as you said, it all comes down to preference and if I may give you some final advice: try to test ride all the bikes you like. I know, it'll be hard to find an A2 legal version of some bikes, but just keep looking. Even sitting on two different bikes can change your decision. For example: I really liked the MT and sat on it. It was way too low for my lenghty legs, so I went with the Dorsoduro after massive amounts of test riding and sitting, haha So just don't loose yourself in all of the research you're doing! Ride safe
Thanks man! I'm 19 soon and 6ft 1 or 2. That is a good point, i will have a sit on my preferred few bikes and have a good think about riding these bike long term, or at least until i'm eligible for my A licence, hopefully :) More than anything i'm just looking forward to a 'big bikes' acceleration, cannot wait. With the Dorsoduro, i've seen and heard one in real life, amazing. The obvious and unmistakeable sound of a V-Twin and the i love the mean looking front end as well. Bet it was an amazing upgrade from the Varadero, Thanks again man. Really appreciate the help! And of course ride safe +Tim Schwarze
ok i havnt watched this whole review but the question i need answered is will it keep the front wheel on the ground? and the answer im looking for is NO. i read that itll do wheelies to 3rd gear but im not seeing it in the few videos that are available. i wanted an fz09 forever but i sat on one of these at work the other day and i couldve fell asleep. if i was blindfolded and sat on every bike available i would definitely know when i sat on the z900. tank is hi up and the seat sits pretty low so i fucking love it. its going to be my daily so i didnt want a 1000cc crotch rocket but i didnt want a 600cc so this seems perfect but its gotta be a wheelie machine to finalize my decision.
Just watched the whole video, but it wasn't really clear whether or not you liked the bike. :-D Just kidding, man that was some fantastic enthusiasm! I always love your videos, so upbeat. Thanks!
I'm a noob doing my A2 and thinking about Z650 or Z900 reduced. Could you maybe also test ride the Z900 reduced and compare the two and tell us if it would be suitable for beginners?
Hi Cager, Good to see you so excited about a bike . The z900 is a cool bike but not for beginners i think................ 125 hp is to much for a beginner . I love your vid's men. Even aside , how is Cagerina and her Kappa TM skills ? Greetings from Belgium !!!!
Hello from Brazil Cage! Do you think the Z900 is better than the MT-09 17? Even though the MT is in a hype right now, I think this engine crushes the 3 cylinders from the 09, right?
bro plz make a comparison with z900 and z650. plzz plzz. even if possible for 5 min. i didn't ride for 2 years. i will appreciate much. tnx a lot brother
Odd. I have zero experience, only bike i've ridden before was 35kw Gladius. I had this for a weekend and considering purchasing one now, and i considered this being slightly under powered for my taste. Then again, i am a car racing driver (with license and all that jazz) with a lot of podium finishes. This was extremely fun, even tho i used this for a road trip and it was a total pain to ride at north at 110kph at my large size and non-aerodynamic helmet, absolute pain. at less than 110kph this was supreme fun tho! But i'd like a little bit more power, and a little bit more fairing. But looks like it goes a bit too extreme for novice driver like me (ie. GSX-R 1000 @ 185hp, Hayabusa etc.) to get a bit more power and a bit more fairing from this :/ So i think i will buy a Z 900 and tune it up a little bit. Sounds are anemic, so new exhaust system and some ecu tuning, perhaps we'll reach 140hp+, and maybe also lower it a bit at the go
Z900 or MT09 or Duke 790? The riding comparison for mostly commuting but commuting on freeways about 100km per day. I'm not quite sure which one would be the safest.
Would you suggest this or the XSR900 for a second bike, coming from a 500cc? I'm aware they're different bikes (tho sort of the same, the XSR900 basically being the MT09). Thanks
what do you think of between CBR50F and z900 ? i know it have more difference but i am confused buying between these two beautiful machines Honda CBR650F is much cheaper to maintain and more cheaper in price Z900 very expense to maintain and high price is the only this i figured , if you have any experience with the mentioned machines , it will be very helpful for me tp choose spending money for right machine. all i want is flawless engine last longer.
Depends what you like more on a bike. The mt09 is a bit cheaper yet offers more electronic (Quick shifter, traction control and led lights) or the probably better tuned engine of the z900 and better handling.
The Kawi is faster ,handles better, is more powerful and better finished. The yam is more of a fun stunt bike with it's torquey 3 cylinder engine and has more electronics. Personally I would take the Z900, no question. The Yam is let down a bit by it's poor finish and bouncy suspension. The throttle connection is also no where near as smooth as the Z900's. Try to blag a test ride on both if you can.
Boz Very true, I love my z900. She handles very well and you feel more apart of the bike that just sitting on top of it. It has great range all throughout. I don't care too much for electronics, I would however, like traction control along with the ABS I already do have on mine. Much cheaper to insure too. Cheers.
hello sir. I am having trouble deciding between two bikes. the triumph street triple 765 and the Kawasaki z900. I'm 6'1 , 215 lbs . I'm from India so the road conditions are average. also here, Kawasaki is a way lot cheaper than the 765. please help me decide which one I should buy. I'm only gonna ride it on roads not tracks. and ps- riding modes not a deciding factor, only the all-round performance matters. please help me out. anyone !?!
Hi CagerOnTwoWheels, i´ve seen your videos many times. After some Videos, Í´ve bought the Kawasaki, you´ve tested. Looking forward to your test of the new 2017 mt09.
Watching this video three years late, and I absolutely understand your passion. I am currently debating buying one or the monster 821.
Portugal looks beautiful, i suppose a good country and climate for bikers.
It's pretty much as good as you can get :)
Biggie i
Once in awhile you feel like something is abuzz , and here comes CagerOnTwoWheels . Uh , there he goes . Thanks
Canadian here. Absolutely enjoyed this review. 1st time I've seen your videos and am now a subscriber.
Thanks Cager

A1RAGER now that you've had it for a bit would you say 2016 z1000 or 2017 z900? And why? I'm looking for one or the other right now.
NINJA DAVIDSON this is exactly the scenario I'm in at the moment
Are the insurances/plates expensive ?
higher fuel consumption
reduced autonomy 140 km
Higher tire expense
more expensive
I heard the 1000 you have to wrestle around the corners
I like your honest review, especially being from someone growing into bigger bikes. I saw the Z900 recently at a Kawasaki dealership and I can't get it out of my head. I went from a 2016 Kawasaki er6n abs to the 2017 Z900 abs. Never looked back, what a bike. Love them both.
Wery informative in how the bike feels. Excellent video.
This video is the reason I bought the Z900, such an awesome bike!!!
Love the sound of that bike.

This video was GREAT! Ive got the motorcycle fever. Cant wait to buy a bike and ride again.
Do a review of kawasaki Ninja 650 next please!
I really like the rear light that says Z :)
Thanks for the review. Im glad some vloggers are finally getting some z900 videos out there.
the slogan for their z900 is raw - refined ;)
That looks sooo nice, you are lucky to get test rides on bikes like these, enjoy it, or I'm sure you did. Keep em coming, time to get back to watching :)
Thank you for sharing! Seems like this bike really can put a smile on your face. Wanted it before. Even more so now!

Rode it recently, agree 100%, its fast and powerful, but very smooth, and linear, it wont catch you offguard
Nice looking bike. Probably not the style I would buy, but definitely striking. I think I prefer the higher up front end style.
Hey Cager, I really like your reviews!
I would love to see an Honda Cbr650f testride.
Congrats from Spain.
Oriol Bech he's already done one a while ago
i had the exact same feelings you had when i test rode the bike.. this is why I'm gonna buy mine tomorrow.. with a akrapovic slip on though :D
Pic or it didn't happen.
Did you get the bike? If yes then how is the feeling now ?
Just picked up the Z650 a month ago. Love the feel as a shorter rider. Plenty of torque and decent handling. The style of these new Kawasaki's is great! I've done a few ride along/owner review videos, plus some mod videos on what little is available at this time. Keep up the reviews!
Tremonte Z650 should be a great bike.
Tremonte Ive checked out a few vids on your channel, you have some good content on there. Where you riding at? Looks like WV, KY, or VA?
I'm in Western NC, right on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Tremonte You guys have some good ring there from what I see. Little jealous.
Yeah. Great roads here for sure. Parkway, Tail of the Dragon, Skyway... lot of nice rides.
HI Cager my friend.I been ill so I haven't been on youtube for some time.I'm well now and back.I'm thinking bout buying a Kawasaki Z900.So this is great your testing the bike.I trust what you say.If you don't like it.I don't like it.I like it and you like it.
The usual overstatement and minimum of useful information. Awesome awesome awesome.
Whenever I see a video uploaded by you, it's always the question if it's ACTUALLY you or if it's Chaseontwowheels
differance is.my God!! Cager dus not say Any,.lol
As always, great review Cager
nice to see my cousin's back in the old country ripping it up
Mama mia, that induction noise!
You made a great review on z900 .
Great review as always. Thank you COTW. Looks like you had great fun on that bike, but maybe it's too powerful for me. 👍
at 25:12, was it the same tunnel that you drove through with the ZZR1400 - until My Heart will restart ...?
one of the first review videos on this bike!

If i would end up getting a naked it's between XJ6 and the Z800e
Just asked CagerOnTwoWheels if he did go on the 650 because i like him and his reviews.

Thanks man! I'm 19 soon and 6ft 1 or 2. That is a good point, i will have a sit on my preferred few bikes and have a good think about riding these bike long term, or at least until i'm eligible for my A licence, hopefully :)
More than anything i'm just looking forward to a 'big bikes' acceleration, cannot wait.
I suspect that stalling issue in the beginning is a Kawasaki safety feature. I experienced something similar on a Ninja 300 a while ago.
Awesome review...
That's an amazing road! I wish this had traction control though.
As ur just coming to the Arabian Gulf a lot now. Have a visit to Bahrain and you can give my GSR 750 a drive while enjoying Bahrain
ok i havnt watched this whole review but the question i need answered is will it keep the front wheel on the ground? and the answer im looking for is NO. i read that itll do wheelies to 3rd gear but im not seeing it in the few videos that are available. i wanted an fz09 forever but i sat on one of these at work the other day and i couldve fell asleep. if i was blindfolded and sat on every bike available i would definitely know when i sat on the z900. tank is hi up and the seat sits pretty low so i fucking love it. its going to be my daily so i didnt want a 1000cc crotch rocket but i didnt want a 600cc so this seems perfect but its gotta be a wheelie machine to finalize my decision.
Just watched the whole video, but it wasn't really clear whether or not you liked the bike.
:-D
Just kidding, man that was some fantastic enthusiasm! I always love your videos, so upbeat. Thanks!
Cager a thumbnail diz z650, testando a atenção dos viewers?
Great video! love the bike!
I'm a noob doing my A2 and thinking about Z650 or Z900 reduced. Could you maybe also test ride the Z900 reduced and compare the two and tell us if it would be suitable for beginners?
Hey Cager, not only Brits or Americans watch you, you know ;-) Greetings from your neighbour in Spain!
By the Way 2020 all lights are LED
Poor guy with the parallel 650, pull it on your shiney new bike and some asshole pulls up next you too with the better z900.
Its a 950cc 125BHP machine. A lot better than MT09
About the Aprilia comment (20:05), what year and model are you referring too? I found that in latest models this is not happening anymore...
You need to try the Suzuki GSXS750
Entertaining video. Thanks
Cager!!! What bike will you get tell us!!
nice review! When are you going to test the new z1000sx?
Hi Cager,
Good to see you so excited about a bike . The z900 is a cool bike but not for beginners i think................ 125 hp is to much for a beginner . I love your vid's men. Even aside , how is Cagerina and her Kappa TM skills ? Greetings from Belgium !!!!
Went.to.school,.bought a gixer 600 3 years later bought a r 1 in.2010 and.now.zed 900
I want more!! 😂👍 Gonna get me a test ride on one of these.....
GSX-S750 is next on the radar
That pos cost as much as a z900 abs and twice to.insure, full coverage
@@chriscuc1602 twice as much? Not for me lol
Hello from Brazil Cage! Do you think the Z900 is better than the MT-09 17? Even though the MT is in a hype right now, I think this engine crushes the 3 cylinders from the 09, right?
Great! Thanks for sharing!!!
CagerOnTwoWheels change the sprocket on the bike and boom it will be crazy lower one down in front it will be wheelie mad have more mid power
I absolutely love that he calls it a 'Slippy clutch'
In Portugal it's always riding season, isn't it? :D
bro plz make a comparison with z900 and z650. plzz plzz. even if possible for 5 min. i didn't ride for 2 years. i will appreciate much. tnx a lot brother
what would you choose between yamaha mt 09 or kawasaki z900 and why ?
Sahil Chadha good question
need to know too !!!
What is difference between in this one and yamaha xj6, how quicker this one etc. Thank you
Thank you for this video.
Odd. I have zero experience, only bike i've ridden before was 35kw Gladius.

Sounds are anemic, so new exhaust system and some ecu tuning, perhaps we'll reach 140hp+, and maybe also lower it a bit at the go
Cager, recomendas esta mota para quem está a começar? Ou seria melhor a z650?
Cager, did you like the Z900 more than the GSX-S1000?
Why dont u test ride the new fireblade??? street triple rs?
Hey Cager...which one would you prefer...this z900 or MT-09?
How do you compare the z400, 650, and z900?
You didn't mention the Z800 at all, is it not available in your country ?
Do you prefer this or the mt09?
awesome ride! 😀
Z900 or MT09 or Duke 790?
The riding comparison for mostly commuting but commuting on freeways about 100km per day. I'm not quite sure which one would be the safest.
Z900 comfortable
Hi, Cager! I was wondering, have you tried riding vfr800f? What do you think about it?
Would you suggest this or the XSR900 for a second bike, coming from a 500cc? I'm aware they're different bikes (tho sort of the same, the XSR900 basically being the MT09). Thanks
DID YOU STALL IT ? oh god ahaha I do hope you will do a comparison of which one you like best between the FZ and this :) cheers !
what do you think of between CBR50F and z900 ? i know it have more difference but i am confused buying between these two beautiful machines
Honda CBR650F is much cheaper to maintain and more cheaper in price
Z900 very expense to maintain and high price
is the only this i figured , if you have any experience with the mentioned machines , it will be very helpful for me tp choose spending money for right machine. all i want is flawless engine last longer.
How.much.difference ?

Please test drive the Suzuki GSX-S 750 is it any good?
Gsx-s 750 or z900?
I have never took a test ride. The two bikes I have owned, I just bought! If you drop it do you have to buy it?
No
so comparison between z900 and Fz 09??
May I ask, would you prefer this one over the mt09/xsr900, or the other way around? And why?
did you buy it?
Who owns the blue tracer? ;)
Z900 or new MT-09?
Depends what you like more on a bike. The mt09 is a bit cheaper yet offers more electronic (Quick shifter, traction control and led lights) or the probably better tuned engine of the z900 and better handling.
The riding position on the mt09 is horrendous.
I'm only gonna ride it on roads not tracks. and ps- riding modes not a deciding factor, only the all-round performance matters. please help me out. anyone !?!
"ok, that's enough" :D :D :D :D this is a perfect example for why having just one bike is not enough.
