That's pretty common, actually. They do a lot of reads in quick succession and it's easier to stay in the voice than to drop it and try to get back into it. It's similar to how if you see Muppet outtakes, they tend to stay "in-character" continuing to act as the puppet.

At Ciderfest 2023, a handful of the Guests of Honor crashed one of the 18+ after dark panels just so they could swear into a microphone. They said it was exhausting having to be PG all day because of the kids
