245 lovely little tractor 👍 years ago up here 🏴 we used an old single chop forage harvestor for topping docks an thistles an was always done when it was raining as the old forager smashed the stems of the thistles an docks an the rain got down the stems an rotted out the roots 👍 good video 👍
We used to have a 282 turbo with that sweet synchro box. Loved to rust and the brakes also like to stick from time to time........ still nice,. that thistle cutting is good for my OCD 😊.
Hi there, you have a nice little leyland there, they weren’t bad tractors really just as someone else said the brakes let them down.I used to drive a 472 and a 282 lovely exhaust note you don’t see so many about nowadays 👍
Nice see Leyland in such good condition and putting some hard hours in! I think these along with Zetor, Same and International were very underrated Tractors and as soon as AGCO took over manufacture of majority of these machines and they became very mediocre tractors . That my opinion and considering an independent, over priced manufacturer like John Deere are killing yearly sales just goes to show how things are going down hill with other manufacturer
Zetor is independent(HTC holding), Same SDF and International is Case New Holland (Fiat) nothing to do with AGCO. All built to a price, the old days long since gone.
@@elginsparrowhawk7203 That what I said there were a lot of independent manufacturers and Case still hold the International Harvester logo and I know where Case came from but Challenger, Fendt, Massey all are under the majority of John Deere competition. Also it says John Deere have no real competition
Both of your comments are unclear and confusing. Not everyone likes John Deere and there not as reliable as people are made to believe. Also John Deere do have competition, by other manufactures taking sales from them.Fendt are more expensive than John Deere’s. Fendt might not be as good as they use to be, but they still retain high second hand values.
Fine video good selection of machinery in action the Leyland looking well in the summer sun 👍
Thanks 👍 she's getting ready for a good clean
