Has the feel of Kingsbane rogue, I suspect it will not last very long. It’s a very strange time in Hearthstone. One of the core skill components of the game, trading, has become almost obsolete
Multiple cards need to be nerfed. Skull of Gul'dan is public enemy #1, but the other Outcast draw cards (CSR and Spectral Sight) and Twin Slice are also very problematic. The 1 Mana Silence (that also cycles) and anti-Taunt Legendary are just insurance. This combo deck doesn't even use other busted DH cards like Antaen, Priestess of Fury, Battlefiend, the 4/2 Satyr that directly powercreeps Hench-Clan Thug, and quite a few more crazy cards. Demon Hunter can literally do everything besides hard removal.
It's just what good decks do. Breaking as many rules of the game as possible. They're going to beat any deck that has the game plan of "play dudes then hit the face with them" a lot of the time.

These changes were made to help with the early game board because of the face DH decks. The 2-1 got killed all the time by a slice or a simple hero power, and the 2-2 got the chance to trade way more often. The weapon was just rotting in hand most of the games.
made this deck as soon as i saw your list on twitter. it's got a learning curve but i'm getting better at it. and pulling wins out of your ass at the last minute never gets old
I remember hearing that when Blizzard adds a new hero to Overwatch, they make them purposely overpowered to in crease the amount of initial players, then nerf them later into a reasonable state. I’m pretty sure that the Hearthstone team took a page out of Jeff Kaplan’s book on this one.

@@zolo-p3p that deck doesn't work lol. They just play the usual combo to gain 25 attack and then they play Kayne since they have 4 Mana left over so they ignore all taunt. You can't counter this deck by gaining health or by playing taunt. It's very interactive. I've played both sides of the matchup at high ranks and it's an easy win for DH

The counter to combo should be killing them faster than they can get the combo off or getting out of range of their burst. Both are possible already so who knows if they're will be a counter to this soon

Death dealers was a far stronger deck than any dh deck, but that's hardly a standard of success that deck had a 80% plus winrate against the non mirror field
This looks like it might be a bit better than the version I made, which is a bit more control-oriented with board clears and no neutral draw. Since not many people are running taunt, you can often ignore the board I suppose.
It's due to how Kain sunfury works. The opponent killed Kain right after he moused over the taunt and cause the taunt to reappear (the "break" effect was the taunt reapplying)

It's a deck that draws very fast, so running 2ofs is less of a hindrance. In case of the last game, he could use it as a combo piece to give him the pyro for extra 10 damage for 0 mana. It's probably worth it, but you want to mulligan it out of hand.

Hats off to blizzard they have now managed to COMPLETELY ruin their game... this new class is so beyond OP/Broken even nerfing SOME cards I’m afraid wont be enough... they have made a new class that’s so broken there’s honestly no way fixing it. And if they do, do a insane nerf then the “new hero” will be completely useless and they don’t want that. They want everyone to get excited about a new hero. But whoever on the design team made such a broken new class I truly feel no other class can remotely compete. I just started playing Galakrond Rogue again and shit on all of the DH on ladder yesterday. They still make many mistakes, even at higher ranks and since all are trying to get that 1k wins (Asif that's reachable anytime soon) it's great to climb with a deck that got largely untouched by the new expansion and is known very well.

Fun decks die to aggro decks and aggro decks are what people play at the start of new expansions. If DH didn't exist you'd just be dying to dragon hunter or something else instead.

Part of the problem is that it isn't just an aggro deck. DH's lifesteal, card draw, and board control mean that it obliterates any kind of midrange strategy. Imagine if pirate warrior had a 2/3 lifesteal weapon that it could buff with 8+ attack and you get a sense of why DH seems overtuned.

The problem with interaction against combo is it also hurts fair decks.

Plenty of fast decks run Zephrys with rest 2 ofs. It just gives them a last bit of burst if they're short damage.
