Technically, redbear would win if both were to use their powers. Nightmare’s orb had never displayed any powers that even compares to Redbear’s fazbear’s curse. I mean all we’ve seen from the orb is summoning minions, create like a red energy wave that sent every animatronics away but not really damaging them which I believe redbear can easily tank, brainwashing people (tho we don’t know how it works. But the workers needed to be held in place for nightmare to use his brainwash ability so it’s likely that the brainwash ability is useless if they’re not held in place. Otherwise nightmare would’ve used it on the animatronics like toy chica), and was shown to knock out foxy but I doubt it could knock out redbear (let’s compare these two, animatronics like mangle can die to a shotgun blast in zajcu37’s verse which is likely to work on foxy, he died to springtrap by an axe, and so on. Redbear can survive a pizzarea explosion, tank a grenade explosion that blew up the pizzarea, take hits from fredbear who can destroy ceilings, and survive having fredbear’s hand through redbear which is extremely lethal. So foxy is just a straw to redbear, and that shows redbear can survive the orb without any difficulties). Overall, I don’t see how nightmare’s orb is anything impressive. Redbear’s fazbear’s curses on the other hand… the purple curse can one shot animatronics who survived a pizzarea explosion and amplify the user to a great degree, the green curse can control people in just a few seconds and can be used in the ear aswell which is more useful than nightmare’s brainwashing ability, the blue curse can let you teleport anywhere which nightmare cannot do (if he can he would’ve done that in the series. Also, nightmare’s soul granting golden Freddy some teleportation ability does not apply to nightmare either. It was stated that the soul gave them their “own” set of powers which nightmare wasn’t given. Otherwise he would’ve used it on toy chica when she went through the portal or using it in “the great escape”), the red curse has telekineses powers which can rip animatronic’s limbs off and carry objects which can be useful for redbear to stop nightmare from using the orb by either pulling the orb to him or ripping nightmare’s arms off and the red curse can also knock down walls. Combining the curse’s powers can blast animatronics away, destroy ceilings, using telekinetic powers like the red curse. Redbear has a much better chance on controlling nightmare than nightmare has on brainwashing redbear, Redbear’s blue curse can evade nightmare’s orb attacks such as the red energy wave, the red curse can prevent nightmare from even using the orb, and his purple curse can end nightmare with one shot to the head. Furthermore, Redbear’s green curse can control nightmare’s minions which would give redbear the edge here. Please know that I’m not trying to judge your opinion or anything. I just don’t want the nightmare fanboys to say “ooooo but bertbert said nightmare would win” so I’m not trying to offend you or anything.
