Thank you for having Peach on. I respect Sheehy for his service, but why make this up? He got a purple heart for god's sake lol. I'm not a firearm expert but I'm quite confused about how he managed to shoot himself in the arm. Is it common for guns to discharge if they are accidentally dropped? I'm skeptical. The elephant in the room here... while Peach is the one who gave Sheehy the ticket, he wasn't actually there when the gun went off. Afaik there were no witnesses to that event (outside of Sheehy's family). Is there a possibility that this story of "gun fell out of car and shot my arm" story is also inaccurate? Maybe im reading into this too much but either way Sheehy has lost all credibility to me.
A politician tries to gain support by telling people that he still has a bullet in his arm from Afghanistan. Meanwhile there’s a rumor out there that the bullet struck his arm while he was with his family in Glacier National Park. As a Montanan, I want to know whether I can trust the politician. I appreciate the person who tracked down the ranger rather than simply reporting the rumor. I’m nearly 70 years old, a gun owner, 40 years an FFL holder, and a lifelong Republican until Trump. I’ll never be a Democrat, but I hate liars. Unfortunately, we are left with shitty choices where we must vote for the lesser of two evils. Trump is the biggest liar I’ve ever seen. His philosophy seems to be tell the lies over and over until people (including himself) believe them.
He went on Megan Kelly today and talked about it, she directly asks him if he shot himself and he goes a three minute rant and doesn't come close to answering the question. I don't have any skin in this game, I live in Louisiana and had only heard about Sheehy, that is to say enough to know he was running. After watching that interview I think he lied his ass off.
He lied. Thank you for standing up.
It’s not dirt, he lied.

I think your conclusion is correct.
