A tight 3 shot group with the bullseye in the middle of the group is the definition of a zero'd factory rig slinging factory boolots..Ignore the detractors..Luv your vids and keep 'em coming..
I have a Ruger American Gen2 in 6 ARC and just picked up the new Hornady 80gr varmint load. I’ve used 108’s and the 105’s but nothing is really giving me any 1/2” or less groups yet. Excited to try the Varmint rounds to see what happens. Also installed the new Timney gen 2 trigger for a crisp break. Hopefully I can see better results as I get more rounds down the pipe. Great content as usual brother, keep on keeping on🤜🏻🤙🏼
I used to do what you were doing. When your second round goes in the same hole as the first, stay down and keep shooting and don't come up thill the group is finished. Try and see if that helps. Sometimes when I would come off the gun to high five my buddies, when I went back to shoot something always changed. Maybe the tilt of my head or my cheek on the stock or any number of things could effect the way you aim. Not like a kisser button on a bow where its always the same.
@@Eric--zs6umI 100% agree. It seems like when I come up I have to be very cognizant of what I am doing and making sure my shooting position is always the same when I get back to the trigger. No matter what though, after I come up off the rifle in the middle of group I almost can keep the next shot the same. I do not care what I am shooting, the group opens.
I wish some manufacturer of superior firearms would donate you a MRAD sniper rifle, and a Schmidt Bender PMII 5X25X56 Horus Tremor. They should for real bro, you deserve it for all the hard work you do creating content. I'm talking to yinz at Barrett or Unique Alpine, and SB...
I only recently discovered that there are a lot of 6mm cartridges in production that i had never heard of. If you haven't done a 6mm comparison show yet, maybe if you are ever needing content, you could compare them all.
Very nice work as always. Solid boolot slinger. Meant to tell you I finally found some normal Whitetail ammo for my 308 after seeing all your Norma Whitetail test I’ve been waiting to find some and finally did. I hope it groups as well as yours. And a side note. I put a min bid on a Ruger sr40c and no one else bid. Can’t wait to test all this at the range. Always fun shooting new slingers and new ammo
I normally do not buy new calibers. They often have little advantage and are often short lived. The newest caliber I own is 500 S&W. However 6mm ARC has several advantages that I like. It is built for compact actions. It uses bullets that have a high bdc for that short length. It can shoot long range more easily than other calibers that fit in the same short action. As a reloader This tiny cartridge should not use much powder. Lastly it is just about the right size to take down most of the things I hunt.
Hoot, I’ve come to the realization that when you get a good group going, YOU REALLY NEED TO STOP STOPPING AND TAKING YOUR EYES OFF THE SCOPE! Because to me it seems that every time you do, your next shot after two touching is off! lol
What helps my groups when using a caldwell rest is after dailing in the captains wheel is to lock it down with the set screw and tighten the captains wheel to the set screw
Lots a adequate cartridges, such as 6arc. The sales n marketing dept added another shiny to the shelf, for semi auto work. I do love niche gadgets. Cheers
Thanks for the video, I realy wanted to check the 6 arc on a Semi Automatic rifle. I 80% sure I’m getting a BR4 now just to get the 6 arc n 22 arc uppers.
My 6.5 Grendel likes Hornady black eld match the best. That factory ammo seems to be the best across different calibers in a lot of videos I watch. Fort Scott does terrible in mine.
You are missing 6mm Hornady varmint express. I found some 6+month ago and they were .12 at 100yrds with my Atheris (custom build from Atheris). I currently have the Hornady black and get .25 at 100. These are being used with a pulsar thermal scope. My trigger is Velocity 2.5#. Very very smooth.
If it's slinging the brass, you might see about stiffer recoil springs or adjusting the gas, if doable. Definitely prefer carrying a traditional styled stock/grip over AR styled, but shooting is 50/50 on ease.
Howa Mini in 6mm ARC...shoots .5 at 100 with the 80 gr varmint loads. If I shoot the 105 or 108 I move up 4 click and wallah. Average about .95 with them. Did put the rifle in a rigid aluminum stock though. I will keep for sure.
What is the best scope for the money? Your opinion of course. I noticed you have just about tried as many scopes as rifles and calibers. So, from 200 to 2000 what do you think is the best for the dough.
Hello Mr. Who. 😁 I really enjoy your content, but I would like to kindly point out a mistake: when you refer to an average group of 0.67" out of three groups from the same ammo... it doesn't work that way. What I mean is, imagine if you shot all 9 of those rounds on one bullseye instead of three, then you would just look at that and have a 9 shot group that would be as large (or larger) than the largest of the individual three shot groups, 1.03" in this case. I don't mean this to criticize you, because I enjoy your videos... I'm just trying to suggest that "averaging" groups isn't how it works.
You HAVE to quit pulling your head out of the scope when you start a good group. Stay focus and remain consistent. You lose accuracy potential every time you adjust. Fractions of an inch change groups quickly.
First off I got unsubed again on my phone account. You really need to handload for the arc. You can load to 62k psi if your gun is timed correctly (check first) and you have a quality bolt. The factory ammo has to be anemic because so many guns aren't put together right. bolts will break when they slam into the barrel lugs.
A tight 3 shot group with the bullseye in the middle of the group is the definition of a zero'd factory rig slinging factory boolots..Ignore the detractors..Luv your vids and keep 'em coming..
I like how you broke down the groups between the 4 and 3 shots. That's good info.
I just can't hate that rifle. Truly multipurpose and a shooter.

Great video. I’m trying to decide which caliber I want next for an AR build. 6.5 Grendel or the 6mm arc
I personally think 5 shot groups are going to give the most accurate data while not being overly wasteful on ammo. And yes measuring all 5

Nice rifle! Nice shooting! And you can't please everyone. That's the internet. I wouldn't be surprised if someone will disagree with this comment.
That gun shoots great - really interested in that model allot more now
👍😊 looks like you have good options for the task needs.

It's nice to see a rifle that cool groups well!
Looks like a sweet set up.

Mine loves the 105s as well
Im trying really hard to resist getting a 6mm arc upper, but I know it's futile.

2 gas and 1 bolt. Different manufacturers and barrel lengths

Yes, it uses spacers.
