If you notice on the prototype cover of Rugrats: A Baby's Gotta Do What a Baby's Gotta Do, Tommy's eyes aren't colored white! They're the same color as his skin!
I wish I could find some photos of the prototype covers. The ones in these commercials are bit different than the ones that went to print.
