This band is so much better live! I hope you react to Cry Out live at the Tokyo dome. Also, this band was set to tour with linkin park but we know the unfortunate circumstance that cancelled the tour. But Mike Shinoda has produced several one ok rock songs. 😀

With this band you really need to check out their live performances.. a few suggestions are Mighty Long Fall, I Was King, Cry Out, and Clock Strikes. Their ballads might even be better; Wherever You Are, One Way Ticket, and Last Dance. 🎶🔥
For metal you should check out Lovebites or Nemophila. They’re both incredible all female Japanese metal bands.
Glad you enjoyed the song man! They have a lot of poppier/rockier songs tbh, but there are definitely some "angrier" or "more pissed off" ones aswell haha, especially in their earlier catalog! Oh and they're absolutely amazing live, the vocalist (Taka) is something special! :)

Hahaha, Taka is sweet irl but he can definitely bring the energy when you want him to. Check out "NO SCARED" at Yokohama Stadium or "One by One" at 35xxxv Japan Tour.
You also need to check out this song live. OOR is amazing live. I recommend the performance at 35xxxv Japan Tour. The band's more recent stuff is more pop so your daughter might enjoy those tracks if rock isn't her thing. OOR is a very versatile band and their discography spans different genres.

Loooooved your reaction! If your daughter is into Japanese movies try playing her One OK Rock's THE BEGINNING. it was a theme song of the manga based movie Rurouni Kenshin. It's very catchy but still rocks. You will probably enjoy it too 😉
And while you're at it check out Crossfaith's MONOLITH for heavier Japanese metal mixed with electronic. That song is old but represents their genre bending qualities well which makes them unique and still fresh and different 🤗
