    This recreation of the legendary 1937 "Around the corner" video is a prime demonstration that, if you want to make an educational video, it doesn't matter how sophisticated your graphics or editing are, it's the _quality of the explanation_ that makes the difference! The models used in the 1937 original video were pretty much the most advanced technology the producers could afford, but if it wasn't for the very easy, from-the-ground-up and accessible technical explanation, and also how it is delivered in a boombastic, enthusiastic manner, the video would not have been as comprehensible as it is.

      Thats not computer graphics. Thats a Jam Handy ! He made a lot of GREAT technical education always just as good as this one. He fathered a brand new concept called "Distance Learning"

    -Easy to follow/imagine
    -Simplified and then fleshed out when needed
    Hybrid
    -Good visuals that drive point home
    -Easy to follow
    -Very good flow from the basic principals to their practical application/explanation

      I agree. Now I want to know how the pivots are controlled. Without that the differential can't control the wheels. Do they require a power source (electrical) or do they work in some other way?

    I always liked the 1937 version of this, except that in that version they did not mark the tires, so it was very difficult to see the wheel rotation difference. It was a great idea to use spokes in this re-creation, but unfortunatrly due to frame timing the tire tread looks like it is rotating the opposite way, so not much imprrovement unless you focus hard on the spokes which is distracting

    Good video, only wrong title, differential steering is when you turn one wheels at different speeds and turn as a result, not like shown here, where the wheels turn at different speeds as a result of turning.

    Where does the "steering" in the title come from? The wheels can revolve at different speeds, but there is no steering involved.

    This is sad. A quick scan of the comments shows that no one picked up on the fact that this video has nothing to do with "steering." "Differential steering" is an actual design element of automotive engineering, but it has nothing to do with the rear axle. Try again.
