Those ABB chargers at the first stop are always broken, no matter in which location. In Germany Shell and Total also have them and they never work or the cable cooling is kaputt. If the cable doesn't get cooled it will fall back to around 37kW which you experienced there. Don't use chargers from the following manufacturers: Efacec ABB Evbox In my experience it's not worth to go to them and then just drive away because everyone is broken or not working. However in Germany all the CPOs except Shell and Total have noticed them and all are only building new locations with Alpitronic as manufacturer and Allego is also replacing all old Efacec chargers with new and now working Alpitronic ones.
ABB are actually not that bad considering they are only thrown together from some of-the-shelf industrial components. The problem is the cable at these chargers. They should probably consider using Phoenix Contact cables instead of the very often failing H+S.

Haha I've been to Norway/Sweden once, in May, and needed to use those EXACT ABB chargers and they were broken. Two guys were fixing them and said it would be a few hours. Had to drive (stressfully) 15 minutes up the road to a single 50kW charger which thankfully was working.
Bjørn you need to make a video about the software and say whats bad and whats god with software on dashboard and the other screens. As the importer and the manyfactor is talking god together an they are willing to do the changes that are needed for Norway and EU. So you Bjørn is the best person to give them a video about all the bad and good and what they sold chance.
Time will tell about the real value of all these new Chinese ev. They are popping out real fast. This one specifically is really good looking, original but not tacky like many other China ev. Bjorn you should go and find some very used Chinese ev 100k km or more 6/7 years at least to check the performance but also the overall quality to check how they hold up. The fact that they sell for 10% less than premium German cars is quite laughable....if only for brand status that mb BMW or Audi bring within the pricetad
I think the more higher spec Chinese brands like NIO, BYD and Xpeng are gonna hold up pretty well. Their building quaility looks pretty good. The MG's on the other hand seem to rust very quickly.
It is true that German internal combustion cars represent a certain status, hence they are very popular in China. However, nowadays in China, the previous Mercedes and BM owners are switchting to NIO, Zeekr 001 and other Chinese domestic brands because Chinese electric cars are just better than their German counterparts.
as chinese i had test drive many EVs model here in china , i think the state own automaker such as hongqi always make bad software, the best car software is huawei harmony OS Space that thing only install in brand AITO ,and Avatar. hongqi already cooperate with huawei hope they can install huawei carspace in they EV.
Seems like this car charges very slowly after 50%? Not sure if u have charged upto 100% after the first charge. It’s like you have charged 50% in one station and continued the journey and charged another 50% on the way through. This way you always got the fastest charge upto 50%. I think for NIO ES8, you waited till it charged 95%….just my opinion but I might be 100% wrong

Think EVs should be taxed based on consumption we don't need huge cars. The SUV hype has caused too much harm when it comes to ICE let's not have everyone going around in unnecessarily large EV vehicles.
I don't understand how you can take such a car seriously. It's still a car that most people can't afford, is way too big and heavy, and consumes way too much. This kind of car is not the solution to the climate crisis. I see the EV's as an better altarnative for fossil cars but all these chinese tanks (NIO, BYD and this Hongqi) are unnecessary for the present market.

Bjørn, you got really lucky in Uddevalla! I was stuck there the same weekend for more than an hour going northbound. I've never experienced a stau that bad in Sweden before, it was crazy.
E.ON and Clever should replace this chargers at Haby with alpitronic. They already replaced some in Fredericia and Nyborg in Denmark. As these are always broken, they should also consider doing this at Haby.
Had the same issue with that ABB/EOn charger last Friday. Only got 32 kW. Probably cooling not working. Notified EOn but I guess they either don't care or don't have the spare parts to fix it. Crazy bad for their brand recognition...
The price for this car was just reduced heavily here is Sweden. Now (June 2023) 599 000 SEK for the Comfort version. That is a reduction of 300 000 SEK. They say the reduced price is temporary. Either way that is a lot of car for the money.
Hi Bjron, I have this SUV and recently drove to Rome, Paris and back to Norway. I traveled 7500km. I don't know why but every single Ionity station wouldn't give me more than 106-108kWh, but Tesla, BP (Amsterdam), Enel X (Italy) and many others would give me about 128 to 136kWh. @@Gargantu4 Biggest pro is that the car is very quiet and comfortable for 7 passengers (I have a big family) and it looks awesome. The biggest con is the software, entertainment system and GPS. My GPS didn't work once we crossed to Austria. Everything could be fixed with an update and I hope they work on it. Android Auto will be available soon. This is my first EV

The way it looks I would totally buy it but I don`t see many for sale with high miles. It looks like to me that those who bought them new selling at having 25k km on the clock evenly. So, it makes me think there is something with the battery or something is about to happen to them over that km. Also about the chargers, they don`t just charge the car but they are also subject to regulations, and they can read the type of battery that is connected to them. So, manufacturer and testing results are in the database they are connecting to, so they have to use the most sustainable way to charge the car - basically, they are relatively new the the EU and through these charging sessions they are testing the car`s batteries for turue development and public safety. About the car I would only have two things that are missing from it; one is the folding step, and the other is the adjustable suspension system.

They are capable, since they can hook up to celluar infastructure. Just dont know if the OAT is done through the celluar network or like the cheap ass tesla through the wifi. I have to buy a "bridge" just for the model 3 to get thr OAT to work. Anyway, having OAT running on people home wifi is boarderlind suicide. Most people home net work just doesnt have strong enough security to prevent being hack. And it questionable how secure those OAT protocol and if the data is encrypted at all.

Software is much broader than what people usually realize. For example, the softblinker issue you mentioned (32:04) may also be a software problem.

When you read the 36km metter, check the Votage and Amperage first. 20:25 The A is 3 times lesser the average 240 & 480 V.
Again, the bad public charging experience is keeping people from adopting EVs, and is keeping me at Tesla.
