I use Open Joystick Display with my own custom theme, although development of it has been discontinued. www.gamingonlinux.com/2020/05/open-joystick-display-discontinued/
I don't even need to try a shooter to know that they are unplayable without analog input. What do you mean by "adventure game"? There are a lot of different types of games that are termed "adventure games".
The lack of analog probably affects racing or flight games the most. Second to that, aiming on fps. You can play third person 3d games just fine after getting used to it. I mean there's nothing to prevent you playing anything with it and getting used to it, accepting that you are at a competitive disadvantage sometimes. Arguably using digital instead of analog may actually be an advantage in some games like fighting games that don't otherwise support dpad.
Appreciate the personal perspectove on this. I have the Zero 2 which has same kind of buttons just way smaller overall. Might get one of these
the hidden feature is a game changer! thanks! now i wonder if it has even more hidden feature we dont know yet lol

@@jakobhhh6013 Dark Souls and Zelda are completely different games with different controls.
@@haleyhalcyon I just thought it would be cool to see another video like this but playing games that don’t seem favorable for the 8bitdo lite
