- I.A. #Krylov's fable "The Monkey and the Spectacles." #Poem
The Monkey and the Glasses is a #fable by Krylov that mocks the ignorant. Written in 1812, but does not lose its wit and slyness to this day.
"Monkey and glasses" - a fable for all times. In it, Krylov quickly, briefly and very accurately revealed the inner essence of a stupid, uneducated, infantile person. The 21st century is the century of new ingenious inventions, which are impossible without the necessary knowledge, perseverance, the ability to think, analyze, compare. Reading and studying the fable "The Monkey and the Glasses" at school is the initial guide to action - to study long and patiently, diligently and with pleasure, so that later, in adulthood, to give people new ideas and promote them in life.
MORAL of the fable "The Monkey and the Glasses"
Unfortunately, it happens to people:
No matter how useful a thing is, - no one knows its price,
An ignorant man's understanding of it is all to his detriment;
And if the ignorant man be more learned,
So he also persecutes it.
Krylov under the glasses showed knowledge, which is very often broken by unwillingness to learn, self-improvement, break through, try. Hence - the result: the foolish monkey was left with nothing.
The moral of the fable "Monkey and Glasses" is hidden in the work itself. It consists in the fact that without certain knowledge and skills to use anything, it is not worth taking up the cause. The monkey in the fable paid for his arrogance and vanity. A lot of people in real life take on any task with the confidence that everything will work out, without bothering to study the issue and gain experience.
ANALYSIS of the fable "The Monkey and the Glasses"
Krylov's fable Monkey and Glasses is remarkable first of all because the main idea in it is expressed not only in morality, the main irony is in the text. The attentive reader will easily realize that the Monkey plays the role of ignorance, and glasses are directly associated with science. People-Monkey, who know nothing about science, far-sighted and visionary as glasses, often with their ignorance only make everyone around them laugh. Ignorance, especially of high-ranking officials, affects everyone around them. The irony is that they cannot hide their simplicity and shallowness.
Analysis of the fable "Monkey and Glasses" shows that the main meaning, as well as the morality of the work, is hidden in the text itself and is available to the attentive reader. Glasses in the fable symbolize science, and the monkey is a simple philistine and ignorant. The irony of the work is that despite the fact that the monkey put on glasses and wants to seem smart and knowledgeable - without knowledge and experience, it seems only funny and stupid.
WINGED EXPRESSIONS
The monkey has become weak in the eyes by old age.....
He is a fool who listens to people's lies.
