Great video as always. Thanks for not editing out the trash finds. This is especially helpful for those new to the hobby. Too many videos are edited to show great finds one after another. You have to dig some trash pretty much everywhere you hunt.
Yes, I think it's important to show that digging trash is inevitable, and necessary, if you also want to find the good stuff. The mystery is a large part of the fun!
Looks pretty good Steve, I reckon there is a lot more to come. I too am current hunting a trashy area but still getting the odd Thrip and penny amongst the junk. Very satisfying when you single out the target that proves to be what you expected. Look forward to your next hunt.
Thanks Phil. Searching trashy sites takes a lot of patience, but these are often the sites where many treasures can be found because others have given up, or not even tried. Good luck!
Great video Steve, the weather ☁️ looked good ☺️. I have 2 permissions which used to be dairys and there is lots of junk and not too many coins because they weren't rich families. I love to find kids toys though because it shows the next generation of their families. Look forward to the next video mate 🤗
Thanks Steph! Yes, it’s a really trashy site, and between the two of us we only found one coin over 3 hours. I’m sure there’s more there, but it’s a real patience game!
@@coilsandcoinsdetecting Sure is. At least you found one coin 😉 What is it with Dairy farm sites being trashy. The only thing you can do is Cherry Pick I suppose. Take care mate...... I look forward to the next video as usual ☺️
Great hunt Steve,, I think there be more out there for ya mate how big is the property and hope your still going to do more Video on the property ,, like I always say Happy Hunting,, Steve
A small coil is a real game changer if you do any detecting around rocks at the beach, out in the bush around ruins, or in trashy areas with a lot of targets all close together.

I recently bought an equinox 700 and I ordered a 6" coil which I find really helps in trashy areas
The 6” coil is ideal for trashy areas. I’d also suggest increasing your Recovery speed to 7 or 8 to help with target separation.

Thanks Tony. It's a tough site, but I'm pretty sure we'll be back for more of a look in the future.
I may invest in a smaller coil....still learning
