I actually met Niamh a few days ago at an event held at a Dublin bar. She was very nice, accomodated me when I asked to speak with her.....and she sung a song. In my opinion, Niamh Kavannagh is a very talented lovely lady. Ireland --- You are lucky to have her!!

Niamh has upheld a good Irish tradition of lovely music; it was much more melodious than many others, delivered in a well- rounded voice. Her appearance and expression also communicates something of depth of character... I especially liked the irish pipes in the background. Don't worry about the judges; this was a quality performance worthy of your country.
My personal No. 1 this year. Not sure if it will really make the Top 5, but if quality of song, voice and live performance (the voice, not the stage show) still count something at Eurovision it just has to. Just awesome. Good luck from Germany!

This song is beautiful....for those that have not listened to it enough...I really encourage you to listen again....when I heard this will represent Ireland I wasn't too happy but once I heard it again I totally agreed!! It's beautiful!! But as for the Eurovision these days. I think songs like this just won't last...unfortunately!! Some day us Irish will get a winner!!! :) Turkey or no turkey :)

There are so many good ballads this year. I'm from Malta and in my opinion we have a very good ballad with Ireland , Azerbaijan , Croatia , Norway and georgia .. In my opinion though THIS IS THE BEST :) Go Ireland.. Love from Malta :)
It took an economic collapse for Ireland to come to its senses and treat such a wonderful competition with due respect. We plummed the depths with a "singing turkey". Perhaps that was our nadir. After a decade of falseness, we at last have honesty. In anycase, any irish person should be grateful that we are being represented by a thunderously marvelous song sung by a lady of such quality, Niamh Kavanagh. Best of luck, Niamh.
